Love it!! Easy to use, very functional. Beautiful screen colors.

Great laptop, but very difficult to put alternative operating systems on (understandably for a Microsoft product I suppose). It also doesn’t fold flat, which is somewhat of a problem when transporting in a backpack.

The best laptop I have ever owned. It is capable of light gaming with the really impressive portable graphics card (I play portal, split gate, sims, and phasmaphobia with no trouble at all) . School work is so much easier with the tablet mode. I am IN LOVE. It is 1000% worth the price.

Definitely one of the best Windows laptops you can get. If you're looking for a reliable computer to the highest quality then look no further. It's a first party computer and has the ability to get the job done whether it's watching videos or editing or just surfing the internet! Plus who doesn't like using a laptop as a tablet?

Nah this ain’t it. This thing is amazing at first impressions. But after that it really struggles with performance and really bad battery life. It’s screen is also heavy, like too heavy to lug around with you everywhere you go. Also I thought photoshop would be great on this thing, but no, it just isn’t. Don’t even try. Plus the price tag is waaay too much. I decided to get a MacBook Air and that things blows this computer out of the water in performance and battery life.

Wow...this was my first experience purchasing Open Box Certified and let me tell you, it is not been good. For starters, Best Buy has changed its return policies and though the laptop presented issues within 30 days of purchase and I am a rewards member I was not able to return it. Disappointing since most stores have a minimum of 30 days return policies. Not to mention this item is $$$expensive$$$. So I was sent to Microsoft to deal with the ongoing issues: charger not charging, screen/display issues (on & off randomly while working) In the end this product should have never been sold to anyone. It is hard to really describe if the product itself is bad or if Best Buy just sold a bad surface book that was not properly maintained or checked as a certified open box. The product on initial inspection appeared in good condition and provided what I was looking for. A tablet that has laptop functions and easy to transport. But regardless I will never buy any Open Box item from Best Buy. I would also recommend fully testing any items you purchase from them immediately since their return policies are all over the place depending on the product type.

Found if you don't have any demands on it , it might be a good laptop. But if your looking for something for graphics, zooming, and malty uses at one time, you might want to look else where. went through 2 book 2's, and 1 book 3 before we found it just could not prosses anything more then one thing before it heated up, and then died. Nice looks, cool tablet, small and portable. But can't hold up under use.

The laptop is incredible! I feel like I have so much flexibility to do whatever I'd like on this device and I found myself to enjoy the detachable screen some much more than I'd ever imagined! I highly recommend getting the separately sold surface book pen, it makes drawing, writing, tablet mode all that much easier.

Great product! Very versatile and functional. This computer is quite. Very quick when performing tasks. I really enjoy the tablet experience and being able to transform back to a laptop. The computer never heats up and the battery life is substantial. Be sure to get the Surface Pen as well!

Do NOT buy this laptop! As the director of a small nonprofit, I was excited to at last upgrade my computer and because the Surface Pro came highly recommended, I went for the Surface Book. While there are minor pros and cons of functionality I could write about, the main issue is that there is a serious product design flaw. Most of these reviews are from 1-4 weeks. However, after a couple of months the screen started randomly (and significantly) flickering making it impossible to use. More recently, the screen randomly goes dark resulting in lost content. I googled a fix and discovered there are MANY Surface Book customers who are contending with the same problem and despite jumping through Microsoft's (time consuming) fixes, it is NOT the driver and is is NOT incompatibility with an app. It is a deficient product. Worst of all is despite the growing number of customers experiencing this problem, Microsoft has not taken responsibility for the problem.

I recently moved up from a Surface Pro 4 to this Surface Book 3. I really like the larger screen and having the keyboard more securely attached than the Surface Pro. I rarely detach the "tablet" part but it's convenient to be able to do so when needed. Very happy with my purchase.

Good used unit, it seems to have issues with windows opening and closing. It need many updates when I first got it. There were so many in fact that I thought the laptop was corrupt.

I plan to go into engineering as my college major and this laptop has great specs on it! The 2 in 1 is great for note taking and casual using, but the hardware definitely keeps up with heavier downloads and software programs. I love it! I am never going back to Macs ever again.

Bought as a gift for my wife who is in design. I really don't think she could live without this laptop now that she has had it for a bit. It's one of those items I would be replacing immediately if she broke it or it was stolen. Very happy customer. Would buy again immediately.
