Everything works wonderfully! I really like the versatility of it being a tablet or a laptop. As an industrial design student, I use a lot of processing and graphics with programs like the adobe suit and Fusion 360 and my surface book has had no problem. The only thing I wish was a little better was the speaker system... it's really quiet when I play videos.

With school being taught remotely, my son needed a new laptop. Last school year, he was using our 10 year old laptop and it was a nightmare. The Surface Book 3 is fantastic. It's fast and we haven't had any gliches. This will definitely help him with his school work and assignments this year. I would highly recommend this laptop to everyone.

Love the fast load up.... faster speed. No complaints

Sort of spur of the moment I had need of a 2-1 prior to shoulder surgery. Best Buy quickly, patiently and with great knowledge helped and guided me towards the Surface 3 based on my usage and needs, not what I thought I wanted. I stay loyal to Best Buy, and there is a good reason for that. Thanks to all! Be safe and well.

This is my sons computer for college. Prior he had a MACBook. He loves this computer so much more with the exception of battery life. He said it doesn’t even last 1/2 the time his MAC did. He needed the change d/t changing his major, and it makes his life so much easier for engineering!

Since working from home more, needed the bigger 15” screen, plus wanted the i7 processor with more memory. Setup is easy, and upgraded from windows 10 home to Pro. Steps were easy and computer runs fast. Machine is still easy to be mobile with, but for older eyes the 15” screen is easier to see over the 13” screen.

Power and performance in a small package. This is the only device that met all of the specs I needed but also wanted for my design schooling. Other devices that have dedicated graphics were gaming computers and were big, bulky, no touchscreen and low battery life. The Surface 3 exceeded my needs and expectations.

Bought this machine for coursework at the start of my masters degree in aerospace engineering. Expect to use it for simulations in matlab and other coursework assignments. Also used for taking notes with the pen. So far it is great. Previously used a SurfacePro.

Loving this machine so far! Has been great for sketching/drawing. Love typing on this keyboard. Wish they had a lightning port for my new iphone. The reattaching sometimes takes a few tries before the computer recognizes. Looking forward to designing tons with this!

This laptop is amazing!!!! This is just what I was looking for! I decided to go with the 15" because I work with a lot of excel spreadsheets, powerpoint, etc. The detachable screen is perfect for when you want to show a presentation!!! I highly recommend this laptop!!!

This Surface is rock solid. Outstanding screen, keyboard and touchpad. I like it better than my old Mabook Pro. The screen detaches so I can roam around on Zoom. Also the front camera is awesome. Very pleased.

This is my second Surface Book. Moved up to the 15" with a little extra memory. Even with the 16 GB, this thing is a Power House. I have been Zooming with my students and this Book can multitask like a demon. A little on the expensive side. I guess BG needs it.

LOVE the size and detachable keyboard. This is perfect for our special needs. The salesman at Best Buy is the one that suggested this after I told him what the challenges we were having and what we werer looking for. Very happy.

Amazing device! Fast and portable. The screen display is very sharp. Battery life is amazing. The keyboard is fantastic. On the whole, it is very enjoyable to work on this machine and so far I did not find any negatives to say about it.

I love the Keyboard and trackpad. I also love the detachable tablet. However, the screen could be better, and the processor speed could be better for the price I paid for this laptop. But it doesn't disappoint. The tablet portion is very light and easy to use.

We purchased this Surface Book 3 as a replacement for my daughter's Surface Book 2. Both of these computers were purchased for College, and we bought the University's maintenance/protection plan. The Surface Book 2 got damaged in my daughter's backpack when she sat it down too hard, and they decided that it couldn't be effectively fixed. The Surface Book 3 already has a damaged screen from my daughter's cat that tried to chew on the corner. These are amazing computers, but they're extremely fragile and costly to repair. Our daughter isn't known for being easy on her electronics, but the Surface Books are so fragile that I wouldn't recommend them for anyone who isn't very careful.
