    I am giving this product a overall 1 star coz of the poor price match and customer service experience that I got from Best buy. I would recommend everyone to check for the price match at the time of sale and not after it.

  • A++ Device Poor Ext Warranty Support for Business

    I pre-ordered by Surface Book 3 15", with Core i7, 1Tb HD, GTX 1660Ti and 32Gb Ram. When I purchased it I was told that I have 40 days to purchase the extended warranty. The issue with my purchase was that it was a business machine so I needed to go thru a different channel than consumer to purchase the extended warranty. I have been thru the process 4 times, (no seriously 4 times from May thru July) getting up to the confirmation of the agreed upon warranty and price and have yet to get the link or the call back from the vendor to complete the process. That is THEE worst so far. As for the device it works extremely well especially since it's my go to for my web design and development work. I am still without an extended warranty and I do suspect that if anything goes wrong after the 1 year warranty. I will probably ditch this for a Dell XPS and abandon the Surface Line all together. Again, a very capable device that shines if you need the precision of the pen and the added features of being able to run multiple virtual machines and process SIT and UAT environments as well as debugging code and running VM database networks. Surely you can use mostly any machine out there, but I am able to also develop videos, tutorials on my website as well as run multiple VM's. However, as an entrepreneur, I do not presently have the security of knowing that my investment will be warranted after the 12 month period, which leaves a really sour taste in my mouth, hence the 3 stars.

    I purchased this and had so many problems with it. Windows wouldn't update, windows would freeze, devices wouldn't work properly - windows ones! SR 1009910893 final said they would give me my money back. Returned it in the box with the chord, Got the machine back no box no chord no credit.
