I decided to move from a desktop to just a laptop ported to a monitor. This has proved to be a great decision! This docking station was simple and perfect.

This completes my desktop use for my Surface Pro. The dock comes with its own power supply. Elegant design the complements the Surface Pro.

I get why MS likely changed the dock to this unit from the Surface 3 Pro version (one size fits all) but it is a little more cumbersome. At least it has a variety of ports for most everyday uses.

This is a nice dock, small but efficient. we have just started using Surface books at work and these will be a must for anyone who wants to hook up to a monitor.

Love this device. Everything neatly ties into this device and all that needs to be plugged into the surface pro is one power cable. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

It is easy to setup with all the devices hooked up to it and makes the Surface easier to use with a bigger screen, full keyboard and mouse, for when in the office.

The dock is very functional, it connects to everything I have that is relevant to my Surface Book. However, I don't care for it as much as I do the Surface 3 Pro dock.

The combined connector/power frees the SP3/4's USB port, unlike the 3rd party options which need to connect the power and ports separately, using the SP's USB port.

This surface dock helps build a PC desktop with the bulky tower. I love the portability of it. Attach many devices, such as, printers, scanners, etc. using the dock.

The Microsoft PD9-00003 Surface Dock is a straightforward accessory that helps manage the physical desktop for the Surface with its tiered design plus built-in ports.

It's obviously built to work perfectly with my Surface Laptop so it should come as no surprise that it lives up to that expectation. I didn't like the fact that I needed a Mini DisplayPort dongle adapter to get my HDMI monitor cable to connect to it. However, it has more than enough inputs for whatever you need. It also has a durable feel to it. The wires get bent in different directions all the time trying to connect to this and that, but the base of the wires are strong and reinforced so you don't have to feel compelled to baby it all the time.

Pretty straight forward dock for your surface pro. Plug and play, charges while on dock, Able to connect 2 screens to my surface pro.

This block is needed to get some extra sub ports and with this dock you can use the power cord that comes with the surface pro in another location so you don't have to carry the cord around

I purchased this so I could connect two monitors to my Surface. This is hands-down the best product I could find in value for my needs.

This was the key to my set up. I work office and mobile with my surface pro. Using this allowed me to hook up a second monitor, scanner etc. Great purchase

This is a must for those with a Surface or Surface Book. It gives you the ports you need, as well as letting you leave you power plug in your bag. Excellent buy.

This has come in very handy for me. Allows me to connect a lot of devices and ethernet and all I have to do is plug in my surface to one connection.

This works flawlessly. I have two external monitors (HD), Ethernet, power and USB in one little dock. This practically turns my Surface table into a desktop.

I wanted to use my Surface as my desktop but it lacked enough ports to be truly useful for that purpose. The Surface docking station works very well and doesn't take up a lot of room like the docking stations where you have to seat the tablet into a unit. I do wish it had more USB ports because I run two monitors, an external keyboard and a mouse leaving no port for a thumb drive. The dock charges the Surface when it's connected, serving as dual purpose. I highly recommend this unit for Surface users. It's easy to disconnect and be able to take the tablet with you.

The docking station is a must have accessory for your office to connect all your devices easily. Bonus points for being able to support dual 4k monitors
