The dock makes my portable computer even more portable. It adds function when at the office and frees the standard power supply to be packed for quick departures.

works fine and is nice having extra ports. only change i think they should have made was to bring the power connection out at the end of the unit. the cord always seems to get in my way.

This turns my Surface pro 4 into a full desktop. I have a large monitor hooked up along with speakers and Bluetooth keyboard/mouse. HDMI port also. Great buy.

My son has full sized keyboard, mouse and external monitor plugged in to the dock. Tablet recognizes them all immediately when attached.

I didn't think I was going to like the new docking station but I did. It's better than previous version because you don't have to remove the keyboard. Love that it has to micro usb ports.

Been using the older Surface Pro Docking station and love the size and simplicity of the new docking station. So far haven't had a problem with it.

I love that it adds 4 usb ports and you only have to plug one cable that is magnetic to the surface. Dock does a great job and allows 2 extra monitors.

Works well, adds lots of connectivity. Occasionally gives error message saying usb device error when I connect to surface pro...even though there is no usb device in it.

Great accessory for my Surface Pro 4. I usually take my tablet with me everywhere, when at home I like to also use it on my monitor, the dock makes it easy.

I love being able to dock my surface and use an external keyboard, mouse and display. Having a wired ethernet via the dock is also a must have.

My only wish for this is to have one that utilizes existing cords and not need adapters for HDMI connections, mini's micro's etc. Otherwise, I like the compact size.

The dock works with either the Surfacebook or Surface Pro. It adds mini display port, usb and ethernet connections. Quick connect to either platform.

This was a great upgrade to my surface pro 4 I needed to connect different devices plus a monitor and so far it has worked flawlessly

After upgrading from the old docking station, this is much more functional with dual monitor capabilities. Being able to choose viewing angle from SP is nice.

sleek design seems a tad bit heavy for such a compact design but that doesn't take away from the power it packs definitely a good addition to a mobile setup

I use this device with my surface book and surface pro 4. Able to connect and use Ethernet and connect wireless headphones to it. Never a problem!

I'm glad I got the dock for my surface pro. The dock makes my work seamless when I take the surface pro out of my truck mount and move into my office.

Heavy for regularly carrying in briefcase, but great if you like to be connecting your surface to a wired network over wi-fi.

I really like the extra connections for USB devices and video. Really streamlines the working process. Great multitasking tool.

The reason for my three stars is because this is an expensive piece of equipment and it doesn't live up to it's price. The design is low standard. The cord that goes from the dock to the Surface should have been longer. It also should have come with various types of HD or VGA adaptors to suit the users' monitors. If the dock was $30 then I would understand. But when it is over $100 it should have come with adaptor choices. I do like that the power connector that also works as the monitor extension.
