I was concerned that I wouldn’t have enough USB ports available with the Surface Pro and this product is a perfect solution.

This dock is a great edition to my surface pro. At home I like to have a big monitor to work off of. It is an easy setup and works great.

Bought this to replace my SP3 dock and the best part of it is the space saving aspect. Works wonderfully and does everything I need it to do.

The Surface Dock provides a great deal of flexibility when attached to a Surface Book. My wife uses it primarily to interface with an external DVD drive and also a 27" 4k Ultra HD monitor. She does a lot of intricate embroidery work and has a large collection of patterns on DVDs. The high definition monitor, coupled with our Surface Book, provides excellent resolution to help her in editing/modifying her embroidery patterns. The Surface Dock is a "must have" accessory for my wife to get the most benefit from our Surface Book.

The nice thing about the new dock is that you do not need to take the surface out of a case to use it.

I bought this to provide additional ports to my Surface Pro. When my Surface is plugged in, I'm connected to ethernet and two external monitors. I have four USB3 ports available, and a 1/8" audio jack as well. A couple of additionally purchased mini-displayport to HDMI adapter cables complete the package. It would be cooler if the USB ports were C instead, but they're not, with no loss in functionality and only a little inconvenience. Solidly built. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have been using this dongle with my Surface Go. It allows me to us a full sized keyboard and mouse, external hard drive/disc drive, scanner, and printer. While the dongle has two mini dp ports, from my experience, it was not able to display 2 external monitors at once, but it will recognize both displays on the display settings. It had no problem displaying one. I am assuming the Go does not have enough wattage to push through 2 displays. Maybe the Pro version would work for 2 displays.

This compact docking station is great. It's compact so it takes a minimal amount of space on your desk and does everything the larger ones do.

This is my first dock purchase. I have previously used traditional docks at work -the kind where you snap the laptop into the dock. This one is different as you connect a cable. I didn't link that design, but now am a believer. The magnetic connection snaps into place and unplugs very easily. Once connected, all the connected peripherals come alive without issue. The box itself is fairly heavy with a non-slip base, so it just stays in place wherever you put it. I am very happy with the functionality and design.

The Surface Docking station is compact and relatively light weight. It would be better if it had more USB ports though.

The USB keep powered when you undock and makes use of many monitors simple! Like the title says, Great for adding additions devices!

The cables are heavy duty and will take work to destroy them. Adds 4 USB ports and 2display ports. Helps when doing research.

This works very well. Lets me use my surface pro as a desktop, by easily connecting it to my wireless keyboard/mouse and a 4K monitor.

It's nice being able to connect my Surface Book Pro and Surface Pro to the docking station and be able to use an external monitor and keyboard. I like it.

This docking station is so much easier to use versus the previous one with Surface Pro 3. It is literally as easy as charging your Surface Book.

Give your Surface Book all of the connectivity that a desktop computer has to offer, while maintaining the portability of your new system. Easily connect the wired devices (i.e., external storage device, printer, mouse, auxilliary monitor, numeric keypad, joystick, etc.) you thought you'd have to abandon or replace.

I have used docking stations before with mixed reliability. However. the MS Docking station works very well and meets my needs completely.

I bought this so I could connect two large external monitors to my Surface Laptop. Works great and was basically plug and play. A little pricey given that the Surface is also pricey, but I could not find another option to make it work. Saved my WFH setup from being less than ideal.

Nice long cable form the wall to the adapter. The extra usb slots and ethernet port make this portable table the best desktop replacement

So far its great! I use it for uploading/downloading videos from my SD card and also for a 2nd screen and its amazing.
