Comfortable, but looks higher quality than it is.

I really like the ergonomics of the keyboard, and it's a huge upgrade from the thin bouncy surface pro keyboard. However, I was a little disappointed in the quality. Although it looks like it's Apple-style machined aluminum, it is not. The whole thing is plastic.

Using Windows 10, HP Laptop. I love the shape of this keyboard, as a SW dev I do a lot of typing. However, if I am not constantly typing on the keyboard and check an email (for example) the keyboard quickly becomes unresponsive and I can't type anything. Often my shift and ctrl keys become "stuck" despite my keyboard being physically clear of debris or any other reason for the keys to be stuck. I find this very frustrating because if I stop typing to check an email or google something, I waste time trying to get the keyboard to respond or I disconnect it and reconnect it. I honestly would return it and go back to my USB keyboard but i'm already outside the available return time. I have verified that my machine has Bluetooth and Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator.

      Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about this! The behavior you are describing is not what we would expect from the product, especially if there has been no damage to the keys and you have confirmed your PC's Bluetooth compatibility. Luckily, it sounds like you are within the device's Warranty. We would recommend registering your device and reviewing the warranty status: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/18406/surface-registration-process.

      Hope this helps!

      Take care,

Works great with my MACBook pro laptop. Connects via Bluetooth very quickly and reliably. Without having to pair/disconnect multiple times like I have with other wireless keyboards. I like that it also doesn’t take up a USB port, and works solely off of Bluetooth. Battery life is excellent, too. I do wish it had an on/off switch, though. Would highly recommend.

I work in IT and have used/deployed countless keyboards, both ergonomic and non. This is close to the BEST ergonomic keyboard I have ever used. That is a considerable statement and I absolutely HATED the last version of this from Microsoft since it had proprietary connection. This keyboard is standard bluetooth. The curve is nice and the write pad is velvety. It's the most comfortable one I've used in a looooong time.

I love this ergonomic keyboard. Super easy to set up and bluetooth works great with my Surface. The only downside to this keyboard I have had is where your palms sit it begins to wears off and looks dirty.

I need an ergonomic keyboard to type with, otherwise my wrists hurt after a little while of typing. Since Apple doesn't have an ergonomic keyboard, I decided to give this Microsoft a try. I had been using a USB Microsoft keyboard, but the keys started to fail. This keyboard works very well with the bluetooth on the iMac, no lag, and actually feels good typing on it.

I had an ergonomic keyboard that was a bit cheaper, but the keys were so loud that it was super distracting. I went on a hunt for one that wasn't too expensive, but had quieter keys. These definitely aren't silent, but they are so much better. The shape is comfortable and the quality is worth the price. It also connected super easily via BT and the connection is stable and quick to wake up.

Excellent Keyboard, just wish you could seamlessly switch between multiple devices like on the Logitech MX Keys. If you dont have multiple devices its a nice keyboard. Very comfortable layout.

It's sleek and performs well. Has enough key travel to where you know whether or not you hit the key. Connects well via bluetooth. I've purchased three of these now for the company. Trying to take care of the employees wrists! Would be nice if it cost less of course AND I would rather it have another row of buttons instead of the double duty function keys.

Best Keyboard I Have Ever Had!

Hands down the best keyboard I have every had. It stays connected with only a small delay when you are waking it up from stand-by. I love having the ability to use my Surface Pro with this full keyboard. It is especially useful when typing long documents as the type cover is small and it is impossible to keep your hands positioned well. Long term use could be painful. This keyboard solves that issue.

A very nice keyboard. The only thing I would recommend to add is the ability to raise the back part of the keyboard as some of its competitors have the ability to do.

This is a great successor to Microsoft's Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard. I actually prefer this one due to its integrated keypad and dedicated key to switching between keyboard shortcuts and normal function key functionality (instead of a toggle switch). Far as I'm concerned, this is the best ergonomic keyboard currently on the market.

Material is high quality and feels premium , keys are tactile and extremely responsive . Haven’t noticed any issues with connectivity (surface book 2 & surface book ) . Takes few days to get used to but after that you never wanan use any other , quite expensive for a accessory though .

I loved my old ergo keyboard. Then I saw this and said "Finally, Bluetooth!" Then I saw their straight one with the finger print sensor. I was really interested in that and was trying to decide between the two. I decided on this one and I love it. Wish it had the fingerprint sensor since I use my laptop in docked mode which means the Windows hello feature doesn't work. I love that the number pad is integrated in this one compared to the old one... Try the ergo before you just buy as it you might love it or you might hate it. But it will be impossible to go back to a regular keyboard after.
