Good value, sharp display, fast, easy to use, lite.

Been chasing the perfect 10 inch windows laptop for a while and have finally found it in the Surface Go. I love this thing, can easily browse, watch movies and do ms office work without issue. Also have a Surface Book 2 which i do my serious work on but definitely finding myself using the Go more just because of it's portability and its size to performance ratio.

I have to admit I was sceptic about surface go but this has deft the odds , I use the surface go as a tool for work I help me organize my notes , and I have all productivity apps as well , i also use it to help with coding and development while on the go , it light easy to take around and the performance is good , not the most fastest 2 in 1 but it gets the jobs done

This little guy isn't the most powerful pc out there, but it is perfect for travel. I doesn't lag when doing the basic stuff like web surfing, using office, and playing simple games like Candy Crush. It even runs full windows well with Chrome as your browser.

All the power of a laptop I wanted to keep up with work and school on the road without unnecessary bulk. Had to turn off the Win10 S mode to run apps/programs that aren’t verified by the MS store, and since has given me full PC-level capability.

Light so it great for travel. nice bright display resolution. Battery does not last as long as advertised but I do get 5 hours. recharge time is fast. Small problem with wi-fi in that it disconnects a lot and that is on a home network with a signal rated strong. Reconnecting is easy. The only thing I wish it had was an interface to my external battery brick.

I've been using this for about a week and I am extremely impressed. I made my purchase with the full understanding that, this does not have the fastest processor on the market and that there are other full laptops with faster specs. However, that's not what I was looking for. I wanted a device that was small, light and can perform all the basic functions of a windows computer, without being annoyingly slow. With that being said, It met all my expectations and then some. The size is perfect, the processor is more than adequate and the build quality is top notch. I was further impressed by the USB C capability. This little guy was able to charge using a USB C charger and was able to power a USB C travel monitor with no problem whatsoever. If you are looking for productivity on the go I highly recommend this device.

I won't go into a lot of detail because there are some really good reviews already, so I will review it form my point of view and how I use the device. First, even if you are just going to watch some YouTube and browse the web, get the 8GB, 128GB version. It has the faster SSD and is just an all around better performer and well worth the extra cost. I purchased the keyboard and pen, which for me was a must have. For me, this is my after work "work" device, meaning when I'm away from my main computer this is my go to device. I use it to catch up on emails, write down notes of what I need to work on next, check on servers and anything else I do at my normal job. I also will do development on this device (yes it will run Visual Studio, or VS Code or your favorite editor). It's also great for entertainment, like YouTube or Netflix (or DirecTV Now). The only con I would have is battery life. It's not horrible in the least, but I wish it was better.

More versatile than an iPad. Great computer for light computing. Needs more processing power and better battery life to be a full time computer. Very light and thin, well constructed. Perfect for someone who needs a word processor, or wants to do email and web surfing. Great alternative for someone unable to afford a Surface Pro.

This met my needs almost perfectly. I was wanting something smaller than my Surface Pro 4 that died unexpectedly on Christmas. The only drawbacks I see is a lesser processor, which I knew about, and it only has one usb port and it's a type c, which means I need to use a dongle until I get a dock or something.

Purchased the 8GB ram, 128GB drive model with keyboard. Very quick to boot and no lagging. Keyboard makes all the difference when using at a desk. Shopped many different brands before settling on this and very happy.

I commute to New York City and I needed a small device capable of handling Windows applications. I purchased more expensive device for its larger memory specks. It works flawlessly for my needs. I am able to use it even for programming in Visual Studio 2017.

Love the little Surface Go! Perfect for taking on a plane - fits on the seat tray a lot better than its bigger brother or a laptop. I've got the 8/128 version and it's plenty fast for doing most of the things like connecting to different environments via VPN, remoting and doing a little bit of database querying and Java coding.

I just purchased the new 128 GB Surface Go and I really like it so far. It runs full windows in S mode and if you want to upgrade to windows Pro its 99.99 kind of a turn off and haven't yet decided if I want to spend the money on it yet. I did ask Microsoft about the Surface Dock and it is compatible with the Go. Would definitely recommend the keyboard attachment with the purchase of your device. I'm in love so far and am sure to be surprised along the way. This is my first taste of Windows in a good 5 years and a few things changed but it is still semi similar to the older versions I loved the most. The screen size is good for a person that doesn't want something too big and bulky. I'm really glad I chose this device to jump back into windows again laptops are too big this is the perfect in between of a tablet and the power of a laptop.

I bought this unit to be used in school by my daughter. For her purpose, as a computer and taking notes at school, this is perfect. I was thinking of buying the i7 but instead chose the one with 8gb memory/i5 combo (rather than 4gb/i5). Cheaper but comparable to i7 in performance. Travel convenient too.

Bought this because my 5lb 15" Asus laptop, while thin and wonderful for a 5 year old i7, GT740 graphics and 500 GB SSD, is a bit cumbersome for travel. Started traveling at work more recently and needed something smaller, lighter, and still able to remote into my desktop at work. This does it and more.

I purchased this surface for quick portability at work, and man it does it all. I was worried about the processor and ram (because some reviewers were negative) but this thing really puts in work. I use it for office, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, etc. and I have never had an issue, I'd highly recommend it!

This is a great compact laptop/ tablet. The size, speed, functionality and keyboard are much better than I expected. I also have an Ipad - this is much better. Truly feels like using a small computer instead of a tablet with a keyboard attached.

I've had the computer for about a few weeks now and I am impressed! Super easy to transition between tablet and computer formations with a touch of a button. I really enjoy that the GO has both features bc my wife likes the simplicity of the tablet feaureand I can switch back to computer mode for my own purposes. Makes us both happy. The size of the screen is not too small and not too big, and easy fits in any travel case/backback. The base model was slower in reagrds to response time and running multiple apps or programs really caused a noticeable lag. Also there's only 64gigs of storage...which is not much at all. This model is alot smoother and is very responsive.
