Many appreciate the device's performance and battery life, though some express concerns regarding the limited RAM and storage capacity. Positive feedback also highlights the screen quality and value for the price. However, the need for an additional keyboard accessory is a recurring point of feedback.

I bought this during the Black Friday sale. I bought it as open box and I'm assuming that the original owner had different expectations when they returned it. I was fully aware of the limitations of it before I bought it, and it will be used as an additional device to throw in my bag. I am using it for basic MS Office stuff, web browsing, Zoom calls, and movies/TV so I don't have to take my regular laptop everywhere. It is a fully functional Windows computer, but you really need to think of this as a tablet. Don't expect to run multiple resource intensive apps at the same time and expect snappy results. This has a low end Intel processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. I got by the storage issues by using a 256GB MicroSD card and taking advantage of cloud storage, but there is no way to upgrade the RAM. The Pentium Gold processor is fine, but since it is dual core I try to have as few apps running as possible. It doesn't come with the keyboard, and I highly recommend getting one if you intend on doing any sort of typing. Windows in S mode does restrict you to using MS Store apps, but you can turn it into regular Windows if you have a need for other software. The cameras are in the center, which is great for Zoom calls. If you know what you're getting into by buying the cheapest member of the Surface family, it's a great deal. There are several different configurations in the Go line, so get the one that suits your needs

I got this to use alongside my laptop for classes which are now primarily online, and this plus a pen is a tool I wish I had started using even earlier! I wish that syncing Microsoft accounts hadn't taken up half the storage space on here, but that's what SD cards are for I guess... The base model is good for pretty low level tasks, but at this price I wish it was a little more competent in terms of memory, RAM, or processing power (especially considering multiple other buys needed to use this well- a pen, an SD card, and the keyboard most people will add on). I'm happy with it, but feel that Microsoft could have done better!

I love the size and weight! It's easy to carry around from rooms in the house to back porch and front porch. It's just so mobile! I bought a small purse with long strap to carry around with me in my car too! I love the flexibility and mobility!! If you're looking for something you can easily carry around. I highly recommend the Go-2 notebook! I forgot to mention it's has touch cabilities and the keyboard pops up too!

It's a great concept, form factor is good, build quality is great, screen is excellent, wonderful to have MicroSD slot, but with only 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage it's pretty limited in performance and functionality. I would stay away from the budget version if you have much more than web browsing and entertainment. I was able to locate a near new M1 version with 128GB / 8GB and I'm really enjoying it.

As a student, i can say that this laptop suites all of my student needs. Runs all the applications that im required to use for school and some more! Is small and compact for on the go use and is fast and reliable. I really like that im able to just have the kickstand open to use and with the keyboard as well. I really recommend this laptop to students.

I thought this was more of a tablet and was told this when I bought it but learned it’s actually more like a computer. I debated on taking it back because I wanted the ease of apps for this device as I have the surface pro which I love. However, as a computer it is lightweight, battery lasts long, writing is convenient and has reduced my need for a printer significantly. My only complaint about it and my pro is that sometimes when I’m writing other things will open from my hand touching the screen. So sometimes the keyboard will pop up or in a pdf writing will get moved from where I originally wrote it. It’s very annoying to have to keep closing the keyboard when I’m trying to write on screen. Otherwise, good device. Keyboard obviously a little smaller bc it’sa smaller screen bc it’s designed to be that way which is not an issue for me too much but for those who might care about that just FYI.

I love how light this tablet is, I can hold it in one hand while writing with the other hand. Very thin, touch screen is very sensitive to touch so it's quick and easy to use. I just wish it had more memory, unfortunately my hard drive is already full and I barely added anything to it. Beautiful piece of technology. I would buy it again but with more memory.

I bought this to have very portable windows tablet. I like the 10 inch format. Really like the quality of the screen, it a great rival to my iPad. This make a good alternative to my Kindle Fire 10. I have a Surface RT and this Go 2 blows it out of the water. I would say if you don't need a powerhouse this the one to buy.

Love it ! Such an easy device to carry with you. It is nice and small, great performance when tethered to my phone. I am so glad I bought it. I often need something besides my phone for business. This device works perfectly. Have no problems operating with my keyboard or my pen. It is a lifesaver for me.

Ordered the 4GB\64GB Pentium version and overall am happy with it, but it's a weird mix of terrible and awesome all at once. Quality: The build quality is great and 10 inches seems to be the perfect size for a tablet usable in both portrait and landscape mode with Win10. This thing feels more premium than any iPad ever has and looks great except for the cheap looking Microsoft logo on the back. Light and easy to hold for us older folks with a bright screen to make it fairly usable even outside in direct sunlight. Wifi is fast and stable. Software: Windows 10 is very usable in both desktop and tablet mode, but apps sometimes crash or only fill part of the screen in tablet mode. I did switch out of S mode, limits you to Microsoft Store apps only, as this is a test machine for development and office work, but most people probably won't need to. It's fantastic having real windows on a portable, small device. The software keyboard and virtual trackpad also make this very usable without a mouse and keyboard when using it on the go. Performance: The Pentium processor, integrated graphics, and 4GB RAM are more than enough power and run everything I use very well. Even older games work great. The problem is the speed of the storage on the 64Gb version: Everything takes around 30 seconds to open up (yeah I started timing it), it's like using an old hard drive and is painful. Even menus are slow to load (but the basic Windows UI is very smooth and responsive). I would recommend getting a pricier version if this is going to be a main machine, but as a companion device for people like me it's bearable. Battery life: It's bad, really bad. I get about 4 hours of usage, up to 7 when doing very light tasks in airplane mode like note taking and using Excel. Nowhere near as advertised. Again, I don't mind as it's just mostly an on the go testing and development device for me, but I would never want this as a main machine. Overall, I recommend the tablet. I managed to type this entire lengthy review on it in just using the software keyboard in portrait mode. Really is a comfortable to use tablet. Of course the battery drained 15% during the 15 minutes this took to type out... But if bad battery life and slow to open programs/slow file transfer speeds don't bother you I highly recommend this tablet despite its flaws, but definitely get a more expensive model for a machine used frequently.

It is nice to have a device that can do so much. It is a bit small for someone used to a big screen PC, but not a problem if you attach it to one remotely. It recognizes all the other devices in my network and calls them when needed without any problem. Because it is small, and my fingers are big, I bought the keyboard and am very glad I did! In fact, I am going to buy the pen as well for really fine work and for drawing. You have to have the new adapter to use old memory sticks, or other older USB cabling. Overall I am quite happy with what I have for mobile uses.

I really wanted a lightweight and small laptop that functions as a laptop and not a tablet. This delivers. I'm fine with the keypad and able to maneuver around just like I can on my work laptop. I added an SD memory card for some more storage.

Overall its a nice little tablet but it struggles to keep up. Microsoft should have never put only 4 GB RAM along with a slow Pentium Gold CPU and eMMC storage. Windows 11 just makes this thing feel like a slug. This device is good for watching YouTube and typing a document with the extra keyboard add on but not much more. Windows 11 hogs 3 of the 4 GB RAM so its always maxed out. Battery and speakers are nice. Display is good. I took this thing back and went Chromebook which is much faster.
