Customers have good things to say about the Surface Go 3's ease of use, compact size, and portability, finding it ideal for various needs and on-the-go use. However, some users experienced issues with performance speed and battery life, reporting slowdowns and the need for frequent charging. The device's tendency to overheat was also noted by several customers. While the touchscreen is appreciated by many, concerns were raised regarding the limited RAM and storage capacity for demanding tasks.

Bought 2 of these Surface Go 3's for my kids to do school on. Out of the box neither of them worked. It took 5-10 minutes just for them to boot up and opening any file or program was almost impossible and most of the time they would just freeze up and not open at all. I took them to best buy and was told they couldnt find anything wrong. I sent them into Microsoft for repairs and when I got them back they were still not working and when I tried to send them in again they said they were out of warranty (they were maybe 2 months old at the time so they should have still been covered by the warranty). I spent around $1,000 for the 2 Surfaces and they are just expensive paperweights now. Very disappointed and frustrated with Microsoft. I would not recommend these at all.

Bought this for my lady and she's really enjoying it.
The only issue I found with it so far is that it runs on Windows 11 instead of Windows 10 which isn't that big of a deal.

The fact that this tablet functions exactly like a computer is what sold me; other tablets seem to function more like an oversized smartphones. I love that I get all the needs of computer with option to use as a tablet. The battery life is fantastic.

My 2nd Surface Go and this one is great but still should start memory at 128GB onboard! I bought this after I started getting into HAM radio digital modes and it is a great size and works great with the keyboard cover. I wish they would start the RAM at 128GB as Windows is now almost 30Gigs alone! I did add a 128GB SD card that makes it work for my needs though. Great construction, great screen and very handy PC!

Not a great tablet for writing notes.

The Surface Go is slow in its response time. I have had some issues where the screen freezes and I have to restart it multiple times or leave it alone for around 30 minutes before it starts working again. Taking notes is okay one minute and extremely frustrating the next. I would not recommend this tablet if the sole reason to buy it is for note-taking.

Horrible Protection Plan from Microsoft

Bought this for schooling and all worked fine the first 3 months. After, I had website pages failing to load, device kicking me off WiFi, constant shutting down on its own, overheating, and app buffering. Took the device to Best Buy only to get told I could not return it and get store credit for a brand new device. BEWARE of this device as you get a faulty one or workable one. I was told by Geek Squad that my device would require a 50$ payment to get checked and if device was still faulty then it would get send to Microsoft with the POSSIBILITY of getting a new one if defaulted. This protection plan is honestly predatory. I am going to exhaust my claims as much as I can't do much with my Total Tech Plus plan due to Microsoft.
