I enjoy all the benefits of the surface. It can go anywhere, easy to carry and use in a small area. The strength of a computer or iPad. It can be used as a tablet or computer. I assumed I would always use my iPad, however I catch myself using the surface more for web based adventures.

It did freeze a few times, but I think that's normal with any laptop and tablet when you first start using it. Battery does die quicker than my mac air book.

I feel like you have to go big or go home with these. It gets hot with heavy use and slows down. You get what you pay for. I would go with a higher end model though.

It is light weight and easy to use. I have the keyboard and the pen which make it really easy to use. I am not using a mouse but don't feel I really need one at this point.

The first one had a boot configuration issue so it was exchanged for a new one. The new one arrived today and had the same issue. Overheated very badly as well.
