I love my new toy! It's very cool. Works super fast and I like the color. It's thin and lightweight. Also, it charges up quickly and holds its power for a long time.

When I walked into the store, I certainly didn't expect to pull the trigger and buy a laptop. I spoke with multiple associates, played with all of the options, and I ultimately settled on this. I could not be happier with my decision. As far as the basics are concerned, on paper it looks "good" but nothing amazing. The processor is "only" the 7th generation Intel series, and you pay a little bit for the Microsoft brand, but don't get caught up on that. I'll also tell you now that the fit and finish of these laptops just might be superior to the Macbook lineup. The laptop is super responsive and it weighs next to nothing. The screen is bright and has a high-resolution, and although it might be a bit small for some, I think it's a great balance of size and portability. The battery life is amazing: I could probably get over 12 hours on a single charge if I tried. In addition to having solid general specs, there are a few standout features of the Surface lineup. This laptop supports Surface Pen and Dial (although it doesn't come with either) and has 10-finger multi-touch, which I find surprisingly useful. It stays connected to Wi-Fi even when asleep, which is also nice. The fabric keyboard looks stunning and is warm to touch. Windows Hello signs on with an infrared scan of your face if you choose, which is incredibly fast and painless. Lastly, the charging cable is held magnetically, so it won't damage the charger or laptop if it were to get yanked out at a bad angle. Think MagSafe, but a slightly improved design. That's not to say there isn't room for improvement. It would be nice if there were more ports. USB-C would also be nice. An option for cellular connectivity would be great as well. Those are my only complaints, and none of them really impact the way I use my laptop and I assume the majority of consumers probably wouldn't be bothered either. Overall, this is an amazing laptop. Absolutely no regrets.

Used over a year now. It is not too bad. Bought it because of its design and color. Its lightweight and touchscreen is the point that is attractive. Bringing it out for easy work is a perfect choice.

This laptop took the place of my much larger computer that I travelled with. This model is sleek and fits in any bag for an overnight trip or a week long excursion. I use this professionally and would recommend to other pros, students and for use at home.

I needed a new laptop for school. This one works great. Battery lasts all day, good speeds, and it's light-weight. Very happy with this purchase.

This laptop is meant to speak who you are. That mention the quality of this laptop is great. The screen displays the colors beautifully at any any angle, even though its not a traditional wide screen size. The camera is great for video conference. I can get like 10 hours of battery life from regular usage that including some videos. It is really thin, not as thin as the Apple competitor(depending which year you get), but also a bit heavy. Like MacBooks they are very easy to travel with and do not hold you down as some traditional laptops.

We purchased this laptop for our daughter to take & use throughout her college years. Plenty of hard drive to get started & bought an additional external hard drive for future expansion. She loves the physical size, weight & color of the laptop & we love that it fit into our budget of $1K after student discount. Color is Cobalt Blue. Also got the 2yr extended warranty for a little extra cost. We had Geeksquad install MSoffice,Outlook & Webroot Security...peace of mind knowing she’s all set up & she is one happy Beav!

This Microsoft Surface laptop is very sleek and the cobalt blue looks incredible in person. Does everything I need with familiar, but bloated, Windows operating system. It's snappy and the display is sharp.

This laptop has been a blast to use. With 8GB of Ram and 256GB of storage, Windows can't slow this down! Mainly been using it to stream games, watch videos, and process pdf and word documents. Battery life is good consistently lasting me about 7hrs on light use and 2 days on and off use. The Alcantara feel has been premium and one of the best typing experiences of any device period. The color really shines through and at 999, it really is a great laptop to pick up, even if the 2nd Gen is out.

I love the elegant styling and the light weight of the laptop. The blue color is very attractive. The touch screen works well and is very vivid.

Being just an average user (no gamer am I) it performs well. Performance is quite adequate and it is very light. Almost TOO light. I put a protective cover on it that gives it better bulk for my clumsy hands and protects it better when I drop it, as I seem to do from time to time. It fits well in my existing computer bag. So well that I usually use that bag for a carryall on short trips. The touch screen is very good though I usually use the Surface mouse since it travels well too.

Love the laptop. I wanted to buy something I can utilize for personal use, since I became so reliant on my work laptop and knew that I needed something of my own to keep personal info on. It is very slim so it fits right in my laptop sleeve alongside my work computer. It runs great, starts quickly, love the facial recognition and even the more square screen, which I thought I would be more opposed to because so many screens nowadays are wider. Only knock would be the spot where your wrists are can get a little dirty, which in turn can dirty your screen when you close it. But even with that, I actually like the feel of the soft fabric, or whatever it is. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.
