Wonderful laptop

I was a very early adopter on chromebooks (and netbooks before them) because I wanted something light and easy to use with a long battery for cross-country flights if I wanted to do some writing. This is that and more - with strong processor and memory options that could make it a more than adequate gaming rig as well. This is the laptop Microsoft fans have been wanting for years.

Lightweight laptop

The speed to turn on and off is better than the older models. The speed of the whole system has surprised me. I got the features I need for my business. This is lightweight and easy to travel with. I like the style of the charging cord compared to others in the past. Touch screen is a plus.

Great everyday laptop

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to have a MacBook Air and thought I would go with the updated model, but the Surface Laptop's specs and price was too hard to resist. I do not regret my decision at all! The keyboard has a nice feel, battery life is great, and the screen is beautiful. My only gripe is that I wish there were more expansion options. Otherwise, I love this laptop!

Avoids the overheating issues of older HD. screen is super clear. touch screen is smooth. Still trying to adjust to only get programs from MS store. Doesn't always have the programs that I want, but I've been able to get what I need to operate. The look and feel is really smooth.

Best Buy made it easy to choose exactly what I was looking for online under the filter and sort. I love my Microsoft surface laptop! It’s easy to navigate and fast. I also love that it’s super lightweight and I can take it with me when I travel.

Get it now, while you can update it to Windows 10Pro for free. Quite disappointed Microsoft has chosen this way to saddle the laptop.

The only thing i guess i would, if i could, knock off half a star is that the touch screen seems sort of useless if you cant flip the screen to use a tablet. I know the surface pro and surface go do this, but this one had the best specs for the best price.

Amazing Business Laptop

My brother in law is in tech, and he suggested we use a laptop with a docking station. I am so happy we listened to him, this laptop is absolutely amazing! It blows my desktop computer away in every aspect, and it is so nice to be able to take it on the road and have my whole business computer with me.

Surface Laptop Stands Out !!!

I got i5, 8gb RAM, 256gb SSD for 1069$ with couple of student discount coupons. Windows 10S is bad and its suggestible to got for a Windows 10 Pro update ASAP. I'm extremely loving this laptop for my personal use. I've a macpro for my office purpose, but for my personal purpose, surface laptop stands out.

Thanks for calling out the Surface Pro's lightweight and compact design. This design, however, does lead to less room for additional ports. Luckily, there is s Surface accessory that addresses the need for more. We recommend looking into the Surface Dock which expands the capabilities of the device with an additional 4 USB 3.0 ports. While it's designed for desktop use, it's small enough to travel with you depending on your needs.
