This laptop is super light, energy efficient and not to mention extremely fast. I have the i5 processor and it works phenomenally. The sound system on this laptop is astounding I literally watch movies on it all the time. In addition the face recognition feature is fantastic!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a efficient laptop for a great price

I have only had this laptop for about a week or so and I have to say it is fantastic! I originally had a 14 HP pavilion x360 and I decided to upgrade after only two years because the fan noise was horrible!!! This laptop is unbelievably quiet, it does not get hot, and the battery life is pretty good! Also is is very light and compact so it is a great MacBook Air alternative. It is also very comfortable to type on. My only issue with the laptop so far is the charger. I am not used to having a magnetic charger and it does seem flimsy so I get a little nervous every time i remove the charger. I have read some reviews online and customers have warned about charging issues so beware and take care when plugging and removing the charger. Overall great product!

Pros: Sleek design, Great screen, Battery life, Keyboard Bad: No USB-C The only drawback of this laptop is that it does not have USB-C. But do not think it is a huge drawback in 2018/2019.

This product has a long lasting battery. It's easy to use key board and light weight features make this product great for travel and work. Sleek thin design is optimal for carry.

Best windows computer ever made. It’s thin, light and powerful. I take it everywhere. The battery lasts for a while. Cons: only has one USB port but really all you need is one.

This is our first laptop purchase in over 7yrs and I researched a lot before purchasing the Surface. Its well built, Fast and very light/slim. I have only had it for a week but have no complaints. If you're like me and keep a laptop for a while this seems well worth the price. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to add the pen with it, for it doesn't come with one.

My last laptop/tablet was a surface pro 3 which I loved, but it was time for an upgrade . I was in between purchasing the surface laptop 2 and the MacBook Air, the sales associate gave me pros and cons of each and went back and forth to compare and I ended up picking the surface laptop, best choice ever! I love how smooth the keyboard is , love the face recognition, it’s lightweight and sleek. I mostly use is for school and some web browsing . It is pretty fast and the colors are vibrant . I chose the color black and it’s beautiful. I don’t regret choosing this laptop, definitely worth the money.

I purchased this as a replacement for a Surface Pro. I needed the laptop form factor but also long-term battery life. This machine is very thin and lightweight. The battery life is great! I am able to charge in the evening and it lasts me throughout the next day on battery. The lowest I have seen so far is around 25% after a day of moderate use. The screen is bright and easily readable and I have plenty of storage remaining with a 256GB SSD. The processor speed is very fast with extremely rapid startup and shutdown. I am extremely pleased with this laptop.

My husband purchased this laptop after extensive reviews online. He likes the size, speed, and brightness/clarity of the screen! He has been using a nine year old desktop and older iPad; therefore, this is a fabulous upgrade for him. Very easy to setup and use right out of the box. He also purchased Microsoft Home Office which works well with his new laptop. He has the black version with black keys which makes the screen "pop." The gray version keys are gray, and the screen appears "dull." He is happy with this purchase.

Purchased this on Black Friday and I didn't really need a new laptop since I have two year old Lenovo T450 laptop already. But let me tell you that I'm glad that I did. This is so much faster compared to my two year LT! This one starts up within seconds plus the battery usually lasts two days of use where my older one I had to charge every day. It's a plus that it's 1/3 as thin and 1/2 the weight of my older LP as well! I would highly recommend!

I had my heart set on a Macbook for many reasons but when I went in store and saw the surface laptop 2... similar design, many colors to choose from and was couple hundred dollars less, I was sold. Sales person gave me pros and cons on both devices. In the end I obviously picked this one. Love the features, battery life is great and colors are vibrant. It's really easy to work with and very light.

I decided to buy a new laptop after 8 years of using my Acer. I think it is a great buy. I can use the laptop whole day because of the good battery life. I like screen resolution, premium feel, backlit key board and precision mouse pad.. Also I like the choice of color Cobalt blue. Overall I am impressed with the performance of this laptop. It does not get heated up and no fan sound.. impressive.

I love my new laptop. Its light to carry and hold on your lap. Battery lasts longer than I thought, I was able to watch 4 hulu videos before I was even worried to charge. Computer runs fast even with multiple things running together. Volume is loud to me but I have sensitive ears. Touch sensitivity on the screen is pretty precise. Four awesome colors to chose from. Well worth the price tag.

Recently switched from a MacBook and could not be happier. Perfect laptop for my everyday needs. Great size and weight for carrying to and from the office, powerful enough for all my MS office and light photo editing work, great screen with awesome aspect ratio, and great battery life that last me through the day so I only have to plug in at night before going to bed.

I went in to the store with all intentions of buying a lap top that was economically priced, but wishing for a Mac....Left with my Microsoft Surface 2 and could not be happier. It is so light, typing is so easy and smooth, and I love the color and texture. Everyone laughs when I say it is sexy...but when they see it they have to agree! Very much worth the price!

This is probably one of the best laptops out there today as far as ultra books go. Great build quality, beatiful construction, and impressive screen with nice resolution. This version finally has 8th gen intel chips which help with the performance immensely. One negative is the lack of connectors. You get one measly USB A port and a mini display port. Much of the competition has thunderbolt or at least USB C.

I have wanted this lap top since they first came out and I finally am able to afford it and am s extremely happy with it just like I expected. It is so light weight and fast and the battery life is even better than I expected! this lap top has exceeded my expectations and I am extremely happy with the purchase!
