    Absolutely beautiful and stunning in matte black. Scratches easily, unfortunately, but there are covers, wraps, and cases available to help avoid that. The experience on this laptop is so smooth. I can from a Lenovo Y50 gaming computer which was heavy, but also a powerhouse. The Microsoft Surface is so powerful with such a light weight and it boots up do quick. The only the downside is you can't upgrade the components and it doesn't charge through USB-C. Regardless, I don't need that, but it would be nice to have it.

    Let me start off by saying this computer is great! I’ve had this product for a couple of months now and I couldn’t be more impressed! It looks slick and feels amazing. But one problem that I constantly run into is the lag. With just loading up the thing it takes two minutes! After maybe a couple of weeke I started to notice constant glitches going through the computer with sometimes it constantly shutting off. Other times it won’t even turn on or even charge! One thing that I would say is that this product is good but with some flaws.

    Best windows laptop

    Switched from a MacBook that had become too slow for my needs and didn’t like the new butterfly keyboards. Came across the surface laptop and was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and design. Enjoying being able to touch the screen if needed and haven’t had the fans come on yet during regular use. Only thing I’m worried about is the long term durability of the alcantara fabric on the keyboard, but the cobalt blue color looks fantastic for now. Probably the best windows experience you can get, although a bit pricey (not as much as macs however).

    I love my Surface Laptop 2. It is so fast compared to my old laptop. It starts up right away which is a big plus for me. The facial recognition works really well and adds to the speed of use. The battery lasts all day which is very important. And the fact that the laptop is so light is another reason why I love this laptop. This laptop is expensive, but I did buy it on sale for $300 off from BestBuy, so it made it affordable to purchase. I would highly recommend this laptop. I really love it and hopefully will last a long time.

    I'll start by saying that this laptop is beautiful. I had the matte black and it looks great. The display is very bright and has really nice colors. The keyboard is very comfortable and the keys feel good. The trackpad is s mix for me. It has a nice feel for tracking, but the key presses on it are loud and sometimes dont activate until pressed a second time. Overall a very nice computer, but I ultimately returned it for a Samsung that is faster and was cheaper all while looking and feeling just as nice.

    Watch out Windows 10 Home OS

    My black slt2 came with Windows 10 Home so watch out. There should be W10 Pro versions out there buy Best Buy doesn't have them yet. And yeah when you dig wayyyy down in the tech details you can see this version does say home. I have bought 50+ surface devices from Best Buy and they all have pro or S(which you can upgrade to pro) so bad on me for not reading through all the specs. Bad on best buy for not putting this product OS in the description. I certainly would not recommend this product version to a friend. Come on Best Buy change my mind.....

    I had a Surface Pro 4 and when the black I5 went on sale for $300 off I decided to trade in my SP$. BB gave $300 so for total $600 off couldn't resist. It is light and very fast. It is a lot smoother feeling than SP4. I love the black finish. Shows some fingerprints but easy to wipe off. I was debating between the i5 and i7 but when tried the i5 in store every thing opened nice and quick so felt i7 would be over kill for me. Very happy with my decision.

    I bought the Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 after a couple of recommendations to purchase this laptop. After using it everyday in my professional life for the past two months, I can truly say this is the best laptop I've ever owned. It's fast, has great battery life, can support big software programs I need for work, and is super easy and convenient to take with me on the go. I would HIGHLY recommend.

    Microsoft did it right with this computer. Yes USB C would be nice but I’m sure it’s in the works. Bought mine when the $300 discount hit. Made my decision easy. Battery life gives me 8 hours. Screen is beautiful.. Boot up is fast and with Face ID no password is great. Speed is top notch. My 2nd choice was a MAC. Nothing lacking on this Surface Laptop 2.

    Purchased this on Black Friday and I didn't really need a new laptop since I have two year old Lenovo T450 laptop already. But let me tell you that I'm glad that I did. This is so much faster compared to my two year LT! This one starts up within seconds plus the battery usually lasts two days of use where my older one I had to charge every day. It's a plus that it's 1/3 as thin and 1/2 the weight of my older LP as well! I would highly recommend!

    I love this laptop. First of all, it comes with minimal (no?) bloatware (and if it does have any, you can uninstall it all from add/remove programs). In addition, it's quiet, and most importantly, it's sleek. It's just a good looking computer. Beyond that, it runs everything I've tried smoothly (granted, this is mostly limited to alt-tabbing between netflix and the internet).

    I almost bought a Surface Pro but very happy with this model. It is fast enough for all my home office tasks ( mostly spreadsheets, Word documents and internet searching). It weighs one pound more than the Surface Pro but still very lightweight so I look forward to using it on our travels. The Windows 10 software is good, familiar and easy to use. Screen is bright, sharp and speakers good enough. I would recommend to a friend.

    This laptop is super light, energy efficient and not to mention extremely fast. I have the i5 processor and it works phenomenally. The sound system on this laptop is astounding I literally watch movies on it all the time. In addition the face recognition feature is fantastic!!!     This is our first laptop purchase in over 7yrs and I researched a lot before purchasing the Surface. Its well built, Fast and very light/slim. I have only had it for a week but have no complaints. If you're like me and keep a laptop for a while this seems well worth the price. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to add the pen with it, for it doesn't come with one.

    I love my new laptop. Its light to carry and hold on your lap. Battery lasts longer than I thought, I was able to watch 4 hulu videos before I was even worried to charge. Computer runs fast even with multiple things running together. Volume is loud to me but I have sensitive ears. Touch sensitivity on the screen is pretty precise. Four awesome colors to chose from. Well worth the price tag.

    This is probably one of the best laptops out there today as far as ultra books go. Great build quality, beatiful construction, and impressive screen with nice resolution. This version finally has 8th gen intel chips which help with the performance immensely. One negative is the lack of connectors. You get one measly USB A port and a mini display port. Much of the competition has thunderbolt or at least USB C.

    Purchased this laptop in December it’s now 3 1/2 months later and I’ve had nothing but issues. Now I’m being told I have to ship it back to Microsoft because of a hardware issue and will be without a work laptop for 2 weeks. This is now the second surface I have purchased and the second one I have had nothing but issues with. I have unfortunately learned my lesson the hard way.
