I had the surface pro but unfortunately I dropped and cracked the screen. I switched to a laptop because I found out that if I crack this screen, they will at least replace the screen. (They do not replace the surface pro screens.) This laptop is cheaper than a semester of grad school and will last me a lot longer than a semester. :) I never used the surface pro in tablet mode either, so it was better to just go with a laptop and it was a GREAT decision. Highly recommend!

I needed something updated that could handle the assignments for my MPH and for my medical residency. I ended up deciding to purchase the Surface Laptop 3. Initially, the laptop would freeze and jut power off. I continued to monitor this situation and if it continued for than a couple of days I was going to return it, but it seemed to resolve and I haven’t had any issues since. I attributed it to the laptop sitting for so long during the pandemic, but I love it. If it had not been for the initial glitches I would’ve given it 5 stars.

I needed it for small projects for my small business. Gets what i need done. Quality of streaming video is great. Great for recording videos and audio. I like the touch screen a lot for signing docs I need and editing things and navigating quickly. Not a huge fan of MS edge but once I'm ready I will search for new software or tips/tools to make it a bit friendlier for me. But overall satisfied!
