Amazing laptop! My old laptop was heavy old and bulky! This laptop is a huge upgrade over that one.

I love the suede on the keyboard.. its sleek and lightweight, fast and enough storage for all my needs.

Our startup uses Microsoft Surface laptops, and from a performance perspective, they are awesome. I really like them. Super lightweight, awesome monitor, very fast. The main problem is reliability. We've had 2 laptops arrive dead on arrival (blue screen of death every few hours), one laptop lasted 5 months and another laptop lasted just under 2 years. These laptops sit on a desk, plugged into a docking station and almost never move. For a $1300 laptop, I figured they would last a bit longer. They have pretty severe quality issues. In all cases, it seemed to be the SSD. The warranty replacement is pretty seamless (takes about 2 weeks, return the laptop via mail). For laptops beyond the 1 yr warranty, Microsoft does offer a $450 replacement - probably because they have so many unhappy customers. Given the laptop will not last very long, basically consider it to be a $1750 laptop when comparing with other options.

Replaced an older surface and this one is better by far. Lighter, more comfortable. Great purchase.

I just purchased this machine about 4 days ago. I had to purchase it twice. The first one I purchase was defective and I had to exchange it. I must say this new one it working great and i must say though I just bought it I really do love it. I had the surface pro 7 and decided to upgrade and go with the laptop 3 and so far no regrets what so ever. I love premium feel to it and love the matte black color. I would totally recommend this laptop.

I love this laptop! I was instantly attracted to it because of the beautiful Sandstone color. I like the touch screen aspect and how it comes with so much already programed into it, a great security system and firewall as well. I was at the point with my old laptop where it was just way too slow and so I'd use my Ipad instead.. It is so much nicer actually having a laptop that works well and works fast too!

I used surface laptop from 1st and 2nd and now it's 4rd generation one. as always, it's very nice to have one. Finally has Usb-C! It's best choice for light to mid size work. Only one thing Surface pro and Surface laptop series are not powerful enough to play with heavy calculation like excel and data work. When it open big size excel files on surface, it's freeze a couple seconds and load result on screen. It's normal on mobile cpu. It make 4 star instead of max 5 star.
