I bought this for my daughter for college because I have loved the one that I use for work. The size and functionality is excellent and is great for everything from doing spreadsheets to watching Netflix.

Especially when factoring in discounts, the Surface Laptop 3 is arguably the perfect multipurpose laptop for the price for anyone who doesn’t need serious graphics performance (like for games or 4K video editing). Everything about it was perfect, from the screen to the keyboard to the trackpad, to the amazing to the overall build quality. The only reason why this isn’t a 5 star is because of the crackling sound in the speakers that happens whenever switching between windows programs occurred. It couldn’t be fixed by any of the measures found on the web, even by factory resetting the device. I swapped it out for a new one and the same thing happened. It was a very disappointing dealbreaker, and a problem that Microsoft needs to sort out...

The price and amenities cannot compare to another laptop. It has everything we need and the processor is very fast. No complaints and a nice bonus they offer a variety of colors. We purchased the Gray/Blue color and we love it.

She loved it! It is everything she wanted. Light enough to carry easily with a screen large enough that she can see what she wants. The onboard hard drive was not large enough to hold all her photos. She has way too many photos!

Great laptop for running power point and other stuff, with a fast solid-state drive. The touch screen works great. Get a Plugable dock for it that plugs into the USB-C port and you can hook up 3 external monitors plus other stuff.

I am amazed with the overall quality of this laptop, works extremely fast and has great aesthetics. I would recommend to anyone. I upgraded from a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and love the laptop setup vs a tablet based computer.

Entering an MBA program, I needed a moderately powerful laptop to handle various data programs. This one certainly gets the job done. The camera is of decent quality and works great for online meetings (its much better than a budget laptop camera). I've had no issue with people hearing me via webcam discussions. The overall sound quality is above average for what I expected. Extremely quick start up due to the SSD. I am a former Mac user, that is now converted to Microsoft surface laptop due to this product. I'll admit, I was skeptical about the surface laptop in my chosen color, because of the alcantara. However, after three weeks i can verify that i do prefer the alcantara to not having it :) It's not very noticeable and it does have a rich feel.

Bought this for my daughter as she heads off to college. She has used it for video chat, playing games, and other applications and it runs seamlessly. Batttery life has proven to be solid. Definitely a great entry laptop.

excellent performance and quilt quality. The web cam is great for video calls and Windows Hello. I like that charging via USB C is offered. Battery life is usually either amazing or average depending on my workload.

I am very pleased with the Surface 3 laptop. It has a quick operating system. It is light weight and extremely portable. The Windows Hello sign in option makes signing in much easier. The graphics are nice. It is a great computer for college students.

I use the laptop for work and it's light weight and an attractive color (cobalt blue). I like the touch screen capabilities and as of right now I have no complaints - it gets the job done.

Can't say enough good things about this sleek, fast, powerful laptop from Microsoft. Other companies should take note. It would be nice if they come down on the price, but really for what you get with this laptop I would pay more.

Great product. I am a Mac user but after constant mouse pad issues and lack of compatibility with Word etc. I decided to part ways and start using the surface. The speed is way better and quality overall.

I did not realize this computer had a Face ID option, so that was a nice surprise. The computer has a very sleek and modern design. Looks like modern and expensive like a Mac without the MacBook price. Really great!

Absolutely gorgeous Laptop! I have to relearn windows because I'm so used to OS systems due to having the same mac laptop for 8 years. However playing around and learning on this computer is worth it because its so pretty! Also a plus with the touchscreen!

The laptop is even better in person. It has a fast processor. Also, the sandstone color is even better in person. I do think it was on the heavier side as far as weight, but it’s not noticeable now. Great buy!

upgraded from the original surface pro, this is of course faster, more memory and a much better and bigger screen. rarely the used the original without a keyboard so makes sense to have it built in.

i have bough an open box laptop for less that half of the original price. It is a good laptop specially on this price. i only browse and see netflix on the laptop for which a good light weigh laptop.

Excellent laptop pc!!!! Does everything so well. My go-to PC when I’m not using my MacBook. Very light and I got lots of compliments everywhere I go. If you’re thinking to get one, do it!

Purchased this laptop for my 16 yr old. She absolutely loves it! It runs very smoothed, fast and the size is perfect. She carrys it to and from school, so needed something not to heavy.
