Okay laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a little tricky to navigate through laptop. You may click on a tab but it will automatically pop out screen instead of just going to the page. Also, the screen layout will change automatically just by scrolling through it. Never had those issues before but it’s rather disappointing. Speed is good though.

Bad main board, Best Buy and Microsoft not helping
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Poor support from Microsoft and Best Buy would not allow me to return non functional laptop Spent the extra money on the surface for my wife’s business. It intermittently would freeze and not power on. Microsoft support wanted a diagnostic tool run next time it powered on and gave many week repair timeline, and Best Buy would not accept back. We are stuck with a non-functional laptop and cannot spend weeks and will likely purchase another laptop and absorb the cost due to business need. I spent more on this laptop expecting better quality and support. The laptop has been babied and I worked in IT before, and am not impressed with Microsoft home user support and run around. We expected in home support in days and not weeks of run around for a brand new machine. Suggest HP or Lenovo laptop due to my experience, if buying for home use.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had it about 2 weeks and it started to restart out of no where. If I was writing an essay and I stopped typing for a minute it shutdown and it restarted And I lost all my work. It happen every 10 minutes. Plus it wasn’t worth 1k for something so simple.

Waste of $$$g connection/wireless card defect
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not buy this again. It has a serious connection issue which I suspect stems from the wireless card. I say this because I purchased two around the same period. One from the Microsoft store where the connection was going on and off and as of today as completely stopped connecting (while all other devices in my home are still connected) and this one I am reviewing, purchased from Best Buy that has the same issue of connection going out and me having to keep reconnecting several times ..I suspect it’s also building up to the point of complete dégradation like my Microsoft store bought one. In addition, this one from Best Buy also has this weird thing where it will freeze a small section of my previous screen and keep it on the new screen I am browsing, blocking my view . Not a good buy at all..

Great idea, terrible reliability
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have known better being a professional IT technician not to buy anything with Microsoft's name on it. If there's one thing they're known for it's being unreliable. I took a chance since I really liked the form factor and the specs were pretty great. I wish I just bought an XPS instead. This is inferior in every way, slower, throttles constantly just by having a couple tabs open, unreliable. Constant driver issues. The surface dock 2 stops working all the time and you have to play with it to get it working again. Once again Microsoft comes up with a great idea but fails to deliver on reliability.

Wouldn’t buy again
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this two months ago and now it won’t turn on. I’ve charged it and it crashes over and over. I use it very rarely for homework and don’t understand why I paid 900 dollars for my laptop to break. Bs

Poor battery
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ended up giving my HP away after I purchased this laptop and I made a huge mistake. The battery on this laptop is very poor. at 8am before I leave for school it is 100% by 1pm I have 15% left and I can not take my exam on it until I plug it in. The batter makes this laptop very unreliable. If I wasn't past my 30 days I would end up returning it. Save your money and buy a better laptop. The price of this laptop does not match the poor battery quality at all.

worst Buy Surface laptop 3
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a terrible laptop. I have had this laptop less than 2 years and it is acting up the screen shuts off by itself and ever so often there is this weird thing on the screen and the screen freezes and then goes blank. there is also the part where your saved documents get lost and save in places where you did not save them. this is a terrible buy. I made the mistake of going from apple to this. I have used Apple for the last 8 years before switching with no problems.

Sad Story!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this device on January 30, and now it does not even turn on. I have not even used it that much. I took it back to Best Buy, and they told me that I have to contact Microsoft directly because they can not open the device. The charger is working fine, but there's no enough power getting to the keyboard. I have to ship the device to Microsoft for them to try to fix it. If it can not be fixed, then they will replace it with a refurbished one. What a joke! The rich getting richer taking advantage of the poor! Sad Story!

Nope
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer sucks. I have a surface pro 7 I5 8g 256 ssd. I run Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, AutoCad, AND Revit with minor issues. I buy this thing to take the load off of my surface pro. I download AutoCad and it’s struggling a little bit. Well I’m writing a paper and out of nowhere this thing goes haywire, glitching, screen going black, powering on and off! It finally comes back on and says I need an update. It’s cute but can’t even function as well as the surface pro 7.

Bad experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every purchase I have made at Best Buy for the past 10 years has been spot on. This one not so much. Geek Squad certified but several glitches ever since it came out the box. From the laptop not charging properly to the screen fading out several times, the last time right before an important virtual meeting with several important partners (thank goodness for a spare surface pro 3 which was supposed to be replaced by this purchase). No worries, though. It will be returned!

Windows 10 Surface
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased just one month ago. I found a virus on the computer yesterday. I do have 1 year coverage. I believe the answer is to simply reset the entire system which I believe I can do myself. My question, would I be wiser to bring it into store and have you handle the problem? If I did bring it in am I still covered for the remaining year? If I bring in the computer will I be charged a fee from the Geek Squad?

ALL THIS THING LIKES TO DO IS BLUE SCREEN
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought his 3 weeks ago, it is a beautiful laptop but every day at least 5 times a day I get a BLUE SCREEN AND SHUT DOWN! I refreshed, I cleared my history, I thought it had something to do with my anti-virus system. Nope, apparently this is the norm with this laptop. After the 3 weeks, the screen completely went black. I will be returning this and trying a Macpro for the first time because of how bad my experience I had.

Microsoft Surface 3
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer started to malfunction after 10 months of usage. The screen and mouse pad not functioning correctly. The WIFI is also very unstable as it keeps dropping the connection. Not up to par with Apple computers. I also have a MacBook Pro for over two years and I have no issues what so ever. I will purchase a MacBook in the future. No more Microsoft computer. They should stay with software business

Very Disapointed
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this device and thought it was great. I had it for 1 year and 8 months and it failed. Geek Squad told me Microsoft would chard to much to repair it and to throw it away and purchase something else. They could not work on it because it was Microsoft. It was my wife's laptop and barely used.

Need to Return
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think I purchased a defected computer. Used it for 2 days and now it will not turn on. I tried to return the computer, but was told that due to COVID 19, returns were not being accepted until after April 29. However, when I returned to the store on May 1, 2020, where I purchased the computer (South Philadelphia), I was told that they were not taking returns at this time but to hold on to my receipt. Not happy.
