I've been using this laptop nonstop for the past day and overall i can say that i'm satisfied with the quality that i get for the price that i payed for. Pros: -Clear Speakers -Very Fast Start Up -Easy to Set Up -Touchscreen is Fast and Responsive With Little Delay -Clean Look and Finish Cons: -I do wish the screen could be a bit brighter, there are times when it is set on max setting in a dark room and for some reason it just doesn't seem bright enough -Black Matte does smudge pretty easily so watch out for fingerprints, oil marks, ect

What an upgrade over my old Surface Pro 4. This thing is beautiful, so thin and light, easy to use anywhere. I'm getting older so the screen is a little bigger than the Pro and thus is easier to read. The Surface Laptop has been lightning fast. Overall, I could not be happier with this purchase.

Bought this for my sister and she loves it. Overall better than the Macbook Air for it's touchscreen and matte black design available for this size. Very premium looking and feel for the price. This was the last one in the store and we got a great deal at $899.

I used to have a Mac, loved it, but it crashes on me. I needed to purchase a laptop this time around with Windows because my software for work runs on only that. I will never purchase any other kind of laptop. It’s lightweight and easy to set up and use!!!!! Love it

This thing is small! Very thin, well-built, but with a surprisingly big screen. It does fall down a bit in storage and RAM for this price: but 256 HD and 8 RAM are still good enough for most people. This machine is well-built. It does have a few quirks that you should know about. It charges using a non-standard Microsoft Surface connector. No USB-C charging here. Also, there is no SD or micro-SD card reader. Finally, the screen resolution is too high given its size. Once you hit middle-age, the resolution of the panel is higher than the resolution of your eyesight. I would have rather had a lower-res screen, and spent the savings on a larger hard drive. Still, if you want something thin and light, this is worth a look.

This is the perfect laptop for students. It is portable, sleek, and fast. I also really like the touch screen aspect because it separates it from macbooks which don’t have that feature. I would recommend this to anyone and think it is a great competitor to its apple competitors.

I must have watched a hundred videos reviewing several different laptops including this one before going into the store. When I did go in and pick this one, it was because of what it packed under the hood. What I didn't expect was that I would love the keyboard and windows hello. Also this laptop is pretty zippy.

So far everything is great. Light weight, easy to navigate especially for elementary age kids. It has been awhile since I used a PC laptop and everything still smooth when utilizing the laptop as before 4 years ago. That’s why I choose this computer. As for me I give it 5 stars.

Very pleased with this Laptop. This was an open Box Purchase; so it took a few days to get it, but the price was excellent and worth the wait. It has a faster processor than my old Lenovo and I specially like the keyboard. Only down side for me is that it only has one USB port connection.

The last laptop I purchased was in 2009 so I was definitely outdated, so this laptop for me has been phenomenal in speed, quality and lightweight. I am loving it. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it only has 1 USB port. I know most laptops are like that but, wish there was an option for more.

Excellent laptop for a mild workload. It runs Fusion 360 pretty well while also doing another task. I've had this for 2 years and it still seems like a modern laptop. The only downside is the screen is hard to keep clean. 10/10 recommend

I purchased it gently used. However, it worked perfectly fine. It was easy to set up my drivers and security. I love the face recognition feature. It’s light as a feather and it doesn’t weigh my bag down. It operates very smooth and fast.

Had a surface pro 3 for over 6 years and loved it. Just bought this on Black Friday and its amazing! Bigger screen, faster processing, larger keyboard, good memory; what else could you ask for! Not to mention how light it is! Great Job again Surface!!

This was for my son, who started high school in September. As expected, he's pretty rough with it. His last one was a chromebook and it barely limped through the last 4 months of 8th grade held together with tape and super glue. This Surface laptop takes a lot of abuse and looks like it's holding up pretty well. He'll flip it open on the fly in between classes, it powers on quickly. One plus is the power cable has an extra USB port, so he'll charge this and his phone at the same time. Only negative - not about the unit itself but about it being an open-box - whoever tested it in-store couldn't have really tested it, all of the drivers were missing off the hard drive - so the keyboard and mouse would not work, among other things. Luckily the kid is pretty tech-savvy and was able to download all the drivers from the microsoft website and re-install them.

This laptop is really amazing, the matte black color is so smooth and sharp. It’s a great laptop for all your daily needs. Best features are that it’s super slim and light also has a great battery life. The track pad is nice and large. Highly recommend this surface laptop 3

The laptop is super sleek and Compared to the past two generations, this one really feels better. I like the metal finishes much more than the material used on previous generations. The screen looks beautiful. The trackpad is large. The laptop itself is very very light.  

The device itself is in line with the expectations taking the price into consideration. You get a lightweight, solid build, and esthetically appealing device. This is our 3rd surface laptop, I had the previous generation and my wife has the sandstone 3, we simply love the way they feel and the premium experience they offer. *best keyboard I ever had* This does not mean there are things we would like to change. * Add Thunderbolt port this would enable a connection with 3rd party docking station and portable GPU's to facilitate casual gaming. * Windows scaling is not perfect which makes it sometimes a little weird if you add an external monitor with another resolution. (Which is nearly any monitor available) I do like the 3:2 ratio as it works nicely for coding and spreadsheets. *Only glossy touchscreen. I do not use the touch as often as my wife if there would be an option without it I would probably take that one.

Very happy with the purchase. Wish the charging cable was more substantial. Very light and thin. The actual laptop is very sleek, light weight and very portable. All programs loaded very efficiently and quick. Very good price and sales people very knowledgeable. Always gave had good luck and service with Best Buy

I love my surface, I bouggt it for school work and never disappoints. I have Not encounter any issues with it, it’s fast and very light weight. Buy one you will never regret. .#teamMicrosoft

The Surface Laptop 2 is a great product. It is an upgrade in speed and ease of use from the Surface Pro 3 that it replaced. My child uses it at college and gives it rave reviews! I was able to purchase it a great sale price that offered me significant savings.
