Have used a Surface Pro for two years with no issues. Bought this for a family member and we are very pleased. Touch screen is a great size and the screen is very clear. Keyboard is responsive and accurate at 70wpm. A good academic laptop.

this is a solid device and a great product. if you need something now for work id get it. the new ryzen (4000 series) version should be coming out this fall if you want to or can wait though.

Good for some work use, Touchpad with a good processor, However the lack of additional ports is very underwhelming at this point and a better laptop could be provided at this price point.

I have had the Surface for less than a month, I switched from a MacBook Pro that I had for almost 6 years. The MacBook did not have any problems, and did not slow down, but I had not gotten a new computer in a long time. I am more familiar with Windows OS so my hope was that going to a laptop that was offered by Microsoft may lead to a similar experience that I received with the Mac. In the beginning it was a little disappointing until it dawned on me to update the firmware to the latest, my earlier issues seemed to be resolved. So, so far so good.

I love this product. I am a fan of Microsoft Surface products / laptops, I would recommend this product. I use it for my home office and I will recommend it

Microsoft builds quality products and this is no exception. The finish on the black model is slick and ultra dark. The keyboards and large touch-pads feel good to use. They could be a little more cost competitive, but the quality is there.
