I was in the market for a new laptop once I was accepted into grad school. I knew I needed something durable, dependable, easy to transport and that could get all the jobs done I needed for this new chapter in my journey. Not only is this laptop meeting all my original expectations but absolutely SURPASSED what I even thought I needed in a laptop. I purchased this laptop in the sage color and it is STUNNING!! The laptop is so sleek and easy to transport in my bookbag to get me through the day. The battery life is wonderful as well! I take my laptop fully charged to school and start my day at 7am and get home by 6pm and still have about 30% left with much use throughout the day. It has a great battery save mode feature as well and will show you all the things you can do to help lengthen the battery life as well as reduce your carbon footprint (we love a company that cares about our one and only mother nature!!) The laptop also has face recognition for signing in and the screen is also touch screen and has amazing features to help with note taking and annotations with my online textbooks which adds some fun to the long hours of reading for my courses. I could go on about other reasons I love this laptop but I wanna leave some surprises for anyone who plans to purchase this laptop!!

I love this MS Surface Laptop 5. I currently have a MS Surface Notebook which I've had for about 8 years. It still works however, it's a bit heavy and the 5 is so light and agile. I don't do much as far as usage but it's small and lite enough to put in my purse and take it anywhere with me. I'm glad I invested in this laptop. I have not used the copilot yet but when I do I'm sure I will love that too.

I love this Laptop, I am on my second generation and I do not see myself changing to any other laptops. Surface Laptops are light, touch screen have a battery life that lasts all day.

After my emergency brain surgery in 2024, I really needed a new laptop. My brother worked as a third party rep for a service offered at Best Buy and recommended this one to me. Personally, I didn't need the removable touchscreen "tablet" feature, I was fine with a regular laptop. It's light, it looks beautiful, and runs perfectly for the minimal amount of use I wanted it for. However, the past 2-3 months I've started experiencing issues. If I have the laptop plugged in and the light indicator is on, sometimes it charges, but now it's depleting the battery even though it's plugged in. Most recently, the light on the charger port sometimes doesn't come on at all and I have to try plugging it in to any open outlet nearby until one of them works. I'll unplug the charger completely, taking it out of my laptop, the outlet, and separating from the charger box to give it some 'cool down' time. That doesn't seem to work. So at this point I'm not sure if it's a hardware issue, a charger port issue, or what. It has an internal battery so I can't remove it. I will say that before all of this started happening, the battery life was great, so I will reflect a fair star rating below. Sidenote: the other day my laptop screen was completely black but I could see the red light indicator at the top of the screen for face ID / hear the sounds that it was trying to sign in... so my laptop was on. I pressed the volume up + power buttons at the same time and it did something, and I actually could see the windows logo but it was not lit up / no backlight on the screen. Then I just gave up and left it alone for about an hour until all of a sudden, the screen backlight popped back on and I haven't had that issue happen again since. There is a lot I love about this laptop, but now I'm experiencing a lot of tech issues a little over a year after my purchase (I spent over $1k), and when I tried to chat with a Best Buy support agent, he wouldn't even answer my simple question if I had any kind of warranty or support from Best Buy for my laptop, told me I had to talk to the manufacturer, and ended the conversation. That kind of customer service is very disappointing because I was nothing but kind... I have worked tech support jobs but over the phone, I know how hard it can be... so that kind of customer service is a big thumbs down from me. Should you buy this laptop? I would wait for a sale or even a newer model. I expected this thing to last me for up to 5 years with minimal use, but after almost 1.5 years it's barely functioning anymore. Another complaint: very little plug ins for USB / HDMI ports. I have to buy a separate port to connect a bunch of different cords or SD / Micro SD cards etc. That may just be the norm now though for any laptop. I don't like it. I loved my laptop, it's great for basic users like myself, just be aware it may start having issues on you after a little more than a year and pretty low usage overall. I could have spent the same amount of money on another product that probably would've been way more useful and less likely to have so many tech issues all happen around the same time.

I bought this for work and personals use, and immediately fell in love! I got the 13.5". It's light but feels and looks sturdy, and the computer itself looks very professional. The battery holds up well. It's hard to find any flaws with this laptop, It is very high quality, worth every dollar, and would recommend It's a great product

After I found a sales rep in BestBuy, it was easy to purchase in store. The Surface Laptop5 was easy to setup and performs great. The small footprint and light weight makes it easy to carry and use on the go anywhere. We added an MS 365 Office and Adobe Acrobat and we are ready to get to work.

This laptop is efficient, ethical, and honestly a great investment. As a college student, this laptop comes through and is very reliable to store my files, has a good battery life, and is sleek and compact to fit into my backpack for day to day usage. I would recommend to friends and family.

This laptop is so sleek! It has all the features I need for work and school. Considered getting a Mac but so glad I got the Surface as it’s way more practical and user friendly. Definitely recommend!

I am an Interior Designer and this laptop has been amazing! I always have multiple tabs and programs open and I love that it gives me the option to split the screen into 2, 3 and 4 sections. It can handle heavy rendering with is very important and the picture is very clear so that is a big plus for me when presenting to clients. I love the color - I found a case on amazon that is mostly clear because I did not want to cover up the color. I also love that it has a backlit keyboard that has the option to dim or turn off. It has a neat feature that does facial recognition to unlock instead of always typing in a password. I am so happy I went with this laptop!

It was a successful purchase, the person who helped me in the store guided me very well to my needs and budget, it is a very thin, fast, advanced and light laptop, which allows me to work with many open sales at the same time, working in the best way shape

Overall, I love this laptop! I’ve always preferred Microsoft laptops compared to apple due to its sherry customization and uniqueness. The touch screen is responsive and the laptop itself runs seamlessly. Great buy!

Quality Computer…with nice Color…almost never crashes…great Touch-Screen…crisp Keyboard- a buy if you like quality vs. low-end Computers. This is my 2nd Surface…and I’m looking already for a newer Surface.
