I LOVE my surface laptop!! I have had it for over a year now and I use it for everything. The look of it is chef's kiss. I can run all my softwares for editing, coding, and light gaming. It's pretty quiet unless I'm playing games. The laptop also works with all my plug ins(monitor, microphone, and dongle). I haven't had any issues using it.

Amazing computer for school, I can open all of my apps at the same time and have no issues with speed. And perfect size for a backpack and desk.

This laptop was good, but I ultimately returned it; the build is solid, it performs well, and the screen is great. Here are the drawbacks: a) battery life: when I first used it, the system was projecting around 3.5 hours of battery life, which is abysmal; after about a week, the projected battery life when up to around 5 hours b) built-in camera: it's 720p and really bad quality; my Google Meet resolution was bad when using the camera c) I'm male and I found the keyboard a tab bit too small; it's just not comfortable if you have bigger hands and I struggled to type in a comfortable manner. For the price of the machine, I did not think it was justified given the drawbacks mentioned above.

Super fast. Perfect for school work. Lightweight so can be taken anywhere. Got the 8Gb version and not sorry at all!

This has turned out to be one of the best laptops we've owned to date. Back in the day we had a couple of Surface Pro 3 units and they were good but they didn't meet our performance expectations on things like battery life and screen resolution. Several Dell XPS 13s later we decided to try this unit and have been delighted with its performance. We can highly recommend this Surface Laptop 5 13.5 inch touch screen with 16GB RAM and the Intel Evo Core i7 chip.

My Surface Laptop is every bit as fast as I expected, and the visuals are excellent quality. What TOTALLY impressed me, however, was the easy set up. Right out of the box, the instructions were clear and intuitive. It was almost as if Microsoft had anticipated every question I would have and every possible snag I could encounter. Bravo!
