My husband loves his new laptop. It was easy for him to figure out from the set-up to daily use. We purchased this particular laptop because I had purchase the same one except with a touch screen the year before. And LOVED IT! The fact that we have the Best Buy protection plan helps us also, we know that if we do encounter a problem they will take care of it for us.

I daily drive an Acer 516 GE (Chromebook Plus) and a MacBook Pro M3 Pro; as a result, I became very accustomed to stellar battery life and standby time. I can't say the same for any of my WIndows laptops, until now. Knowing that it'll be ready to go without worrying about whether or not I remembered to charge it yesterday alone is worth it.
Beyond that, I love this device's screen, keyboard, haptic touchpad, and color. The webcam is 1080p, a nice upgrade from my outgoing Surface Laptop 3's 720p. The Snapdragon CPU hasn't presented any meaningful barriers to installing or running my productivity or web development apps.
The only real disappointment is the Xbox app not allowing me to install any games. As a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, I can still stream games. Which is fine, I guess. Microsoft explicitly blocking games from being installed is a huge bummer. Steam and GOG work just fine though.

I would recommend it. The computer is light, has fast processing capabilities, is sleek and works perfectly for all my needs. I've going from a MAC to this laptop.

Been a surface user for two laptops now. I don't like apple products and I'm always searching for the best alternative. This is what I arrived on. Never had a problem. I'm not using the laptop for anything pressing tho. I'm a real estate agent that creates social media content. It performs well for what I ask of it.

The machine runs very smooth and can handle some pretty strong software. I was concerned about the ARM processor since the first ARM Surface I purchased turned out to make me a prisoner of the Microsoft Store. This wasnt the case here. First thing I did was download Adobe Photoshop from adobe.com and it installed and ran like a normal machine. And even then, the performance to handle fast editing and demanding tasks was impressive. Certainly a very satisfied customer.

I have been using this laptop for the past 2 months and it has been great. The battery lasts a long time and everything works quick and easy. I have been using it for college and the software I use runs on it so great.

This laptop is definitely Microsoft's answer to Apple's Macbook series. The Snapdragon processor is fast, especially when using native apps (I'll come back to that) and web browsing. I used the Edge browser instead of Chrome like I do on my MacBook. Seriously, this computer is no joke; I would recommend it to anyone...as long as their apps are supported. I planned on using this for school, but ONE of my needed software is incompatible with this computer (even though Qualcomm says it's supported). Definitely do the research before buying this computer and try it out in the store. Aside from software compatibility this computer has no issues--is zippy, the fan is quiet, and perfect for light users.

I used a Mac Air for 5 years, and decided to switch to Surface Laptop because it seemed more versatile, and I really like the design and it is very fast. I would only recommend that Microsoft make a small notch at the top of the screen frame to make it easier when you want to open the laptop, and change the charger for a more versatile one.
