Small and lightweight laptop, I think it's best for someone like a student who frequently takes their laptop out with them

This laptop is so light and convenient for traveling purposes. I am able to bring it wherever and it doesn’t feel like anything. It’s also fast.

Runs hot -- but a great upgrade starter for my 5th grader. Does everything a traditional surface does ... but with a read keyboard and a bit more sturdy for her dropping habits. I don't like that it doesn't have many cooling vents ... so always runs hot and the fan works like crazy most days. I have taken it to Geek Squad (awesome BTW) and they say that is normal operating...just wish they had accounted for the heat.

This is a great laptop. It's lightweight and I love the size of the screen. Almost the entire top is screen versus my old VIAO which has 1/2 to 3/4's inches of open space on all sides. The color of pictures is also wonderful. When I compared the same picture on my VIAO and the Surface the colors are night and day. The keyboard is taking a little getting used to but that's only because it is slightly bigger than my VIAO. I got the 256GB version and my only complaint is I wish you could get more storage but I was told that's the biggest you can get.

I have only had this thing a week and already sold on Microsoft machines. It’s light, Sleek, and more than powerful enough to do all I’ve thrown at it!

Good computer that is useful for work or school. It is also really small and fits in your backpack easily and is leightweight.

It's very small, light, and portable, which was my priority when replacing my 10 year old Samsung laptop. The display is small (obviously) and you can tell it has a lower resolution than other laptops, but it's fine for what I need it for (basic work tasks). The charger stopped working within a few months of purchase, but I was able to get a replacement from Microsoft through the warranty.

Bought this for school and it is great little laptop. The fan is a little loud but overall great machine.

An average laptop, if you need it for work it’s okay, with the proper care, it will run decently. Save your money and don’t get the touch screen, I’ve used the touch screen very few times, bought it thinking I’d be using it for drawing once in a while but it feels uncomfortable. The screen is glossy too, so it is difficult to use in certain places with a lot of light.

I bought this for my son in college. He said it perfectly meets his needs. It"s good that we didn't buy a more fancy and expensive one. The display is very clear and the functionality is very appropriate for a student. I got another one for my daughter and so far, she has no complaint. The size is very handy and all accessories from her previous laptop are compatible. Her roommates are impressed considering the price we have to pay for it.

My daughter needed a new computer and this fit the need both in price and quality!! She has enjoyed the size and the color!
