Very frustrated. Purchased an open box surface with the assurance that it would be good to go when it arrived. Once it came, it was immediately apparent that it hadn’t been reset, as the previous owners log in credentials were still live. I was able to find their gmail account easily, which is a huge violation of their privacy. After hours spent on the phone with customer service and IT, they told me to bring it in to the nearest store and assured me it was an easy fix. Waited in line with customer service for 45 minutes (the person at the front of the store directed me there, not to the geek squad), finally was able to talk to the customer service rep, who promptly told me I needed to make an appointment with the geek squad, even after the person at the front of the store assured me that I didn’t need to do that. The next geek squad appointment was in two hours. I asked to just leave the computer and sign the paperwork with customer service, but they said it was against their policy and I needed to be the one to physically hand over the computer. I asked if they could make an exception as I had just traveled all the way there on my only day off with my infant son because of an error on their end, and they said no. I ended up just returning the product. 10/10 would not recommend.

Just mediocre... Wasn't a horrible computer but it was extremely slow and the touch screen and the mouse pad both lagged significantly. Love the size but but for the size processor and the specifications it should have worked much better

Functionally it does what it was designed to do but the size makes it less than ideal. Definitely not worth the $700 we paid for it in my opinion.

Has all the basics to do most activities. Short battery life and slow charge.

Not worth the money. Slow. No lighting on the totally blackout keyboard. Tinny feel to the casing. I gave it back to them.

Don't love that the keyboard does not light up, it's slow, but light and easy.

Nice little machine for traveling but no built in Bluetooth.

Very small. Returned it instantly, didnt try it out, it is the exact size of a cheez it box. Would be great if you were looking for a small laptop for a child, wouldn't recommend for schooling.

I was really disappointed my Surface screen cracked almost immediately after I bought it, with barely any use or pressure. For the price, I expected better durability. I take care of my devices, so this was frustrating and unacceptable. Definitely not what I expected from Microsoft.

I really like this computer however the battery life is not great.

I know this is supposed to be the budget option for surface, but man oh man disappointed. They seem to hide, bruh the fact the surface pen does not work. After hours of trying to figure it out found on an online forum this seems to be the case. The pen will connnect, sync but not respond. Rather irritated and feel duped.

It’s a Xmas gift so I won’t have a clue until after next year.

This Microsoft PC has been awful. After just over one year of use, the mouse is sticking and so is the power button. We are going to have to replace it with a new one, so I recommend buying an extended warranty if you want this machine.

I purchased this computer. It is awesome. But after having to have it replaced four times, I asked if they would upgrade the next one to the Surface Studio 2. They said “NO.” They sent me the next one and when I went to download my software that I use, the computer couldn’t find the operating system. I called the Geek Squad desk and told them I have lost all confidence. I have every Microsoft Laptop they make. I didn’t want my money back. I just wanted a computer that worked. They ended up refunding my money. I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad. It was almost 3 times less expensive. What a bummer for me. I have every accessory for Microsoft computers.

Got super hot very quickly, didn’t run fast, needs to restart every 5 seconds
