I set out to find a computer that could be my all-in-one. More specifically, my daily laptop, tablet, and capable of playing some quality games and doing some video editing. Coming across this device in my search, I was pretty impressed with its capabilities. Though, I know that there will always be a compromise somewhere. Long story short, the pros in my opinion include: good form factor for portability, comes with a dedicated GPU (3050TI) (must have an i7 model to get this), nice display refresh rate of 120Hz, decent battery life (about 6-8 hours using it on a medium load. Cons: kinda thick with its double decker design, CPU is limited to 4 cores, the GPU can handle high end games, but will more than likely have to be toned down to low settings for smooth gameplay (4gb VRAM only).
Otherwise, a very capable device that utilizes Windows 11 and makes for smooth user experience.

I've had dozens of different laptops, including various Surface devices. This is, by far, my favorite ever. It's nearly perfect. SO fast and SO convenient. I love the display and how you can change orientations (without detaching like the Surface Book). The new pen with haptic feedback in the display is fantastic and feels much more natural. The only thing that could be improved is battery life, but that's always the case. All in all, it's GREAT and I love love love this laptop.

This is a great laptop. It is fast and responsive. Love the way it converts to a tablet. Very happy with this purchase. If you are on the fence about this laptop don't be. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this laptop. Remember you do get what you pay for in tech.

Probably the best laptop I have ever seen. Worked flawlessly from the box. I purchased the pen and hub that should be included but Microsoft choose to be add on. I purchased the extended warranty directly from Microsoft since it is far better and less expensive then the Best Buy extended warranty.

Pros - really quiet, works fairly well with my music software, WSL (built-in Linux), and basics. The screen folding is pretty neat, and writing on it has a really nice feel. Works well with the 2 external monitors I have.
Cons -
* Win11 - doesn't feel like it was quite ready for primetime. Mostly feels like an aesthetic refresh, but kinda buggy. (Plus some weird things remain like some settings being in "Settings", some in "Control Panel". The split is confusing and the latter don't show up in the system search.)
* I have some issue with peripherals-- admittedly I have a lot of USB devices. But these all worked fine with 3yo LG. Even my wireless MS keyboard and mouse isn't detected sometimes and I have to reconnect it.
* Only 2 USB-C ports?!?
* Weak processor for the price
Ultimately, I'd say if you really are going to use the tablet mode, esp with a pen, it's worth it. If you're looking for a fairly powerful Windows machine and don't want a gaming laptop, it's not a bad choice. Otherwise, probably better off with a gaming laptop or a Mac, which both offer more bang for buck.

Really like the new Surface design. The screen on this version does not detach, it folds. The Surface pen can now be recharged. The new Surface can use the old pen with batteries. Get the new Surface pan for this laptop as it is flat and magnetically connect to the bottom of the keyboard to recharge. The new Surface Laptop is a great improvement over the last model.

It's a great computer I really like the speakers they are loud. Only issue is sometimes when you open the computer up it tends to flip the screen because the magnets aren't strong enough.
