Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Surface Laptop Studio's performance, innovative design, and ample RAM, frequently praising its power and ease of use. However, some users express concerns regarding battery life, the limited number of USB ports, and the device's weight. The screen size and its susceptibility to display issues were also mentioned as potential drawbacks. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and design outweighs the negative comments on other features.

This laptop is great. It has everything you need. I use it in flat mode to do presentations for clients and in normal mode I use autocad on a daily basis along with Revit. Both demanding engineering applications. The screen is clear, crisp and the performance is great with a dedicated GPU. Those using the adobe suite of products including the more intensive applications like adobe after effects will have no trouble utilizing this mini beast. The touch screen is very responsive and you definitely need to get the pen. Buy the pen used and save a bunch of money because it's overpriced new. My only issue is we don't get a single usb port with this. You will need a usb-c to usb 3.0 or you can use a hub. Just something else I need to carry around with me that i really don't want to. Other than that, it's the best work laptop I own and truly is an all in one.

This laptop is AMAZING so far! Its powerful, and runs all the games I have put it up to the text with (including Ultra - Halo Infinite on about 30-40 FPS). It also is great for work and personal business use, and the keyboard is types smooth. Overall very happy.

I purchased the Microsoft Surface Studio laptop about a year ago, and over time, it has consistently fallen short of expectations. The performance has been underwhelming, even for basic tasks. There’s a noticeable lag when switching between applications or working on simple projects, which makes multitasking frustrating. Battery life is another major downside. It struggles to last more than a few hours, even with light use. This makes it difficult to rely on for work or travel without constantly being near a power source. Additionally, the fan noise is louder than expected, ramping up even during moderate use. This can be quite distracting in quiet environments and makes the laptop feel less refined overall. While the design is sleek and appealing, the disappointing performance, short battery life, and noisy fan make it hard to recommend.

We purchased this system for someone on our design staff to take on a remote job. Great performance, and a perfect system for hybrid work using graphic-heavy apps.

I love how light it is and that the screen is touch. The battery dies faster than I thought it would. It didn’t have a USB port so had to buy an adapter. It tells me I have to many windows open to work with some programs but I don’t have any going to have tech support help me with that. I do love it but takes some getting used to.

Very good performance, but a bit on the heavy side. I use this for work during the day (MS Office Apps) and photo editing at night (Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop). I upgraded from the Surface Book 3. I miss the detachable screen and the power button on the outside. With this model, you have to open it up to access the power button key.

Best little tablet/laptop on the market. So good that I use it as my desktop computer as well. I do a great deal of photo editing using both Photoshop and AI programs and this handles them smoothly.

Great mobility! I love the different ways in which it can be used and the touchscreen aspect. As a student, comfortably taking notes and having all resources in one device is important and so much easier to work with.

Fantastic Laptop and writing pad. My son loves it and will be using it for engineering school in college. The Only concern was that charger was not working briefly but it is now. Will follow up if any issues arise.

I love the versatility of the surface studio. Sometimes it is convenient to flip it into the iPad style when I want to watch movies or show someone a presentation and then flip it back to my normal laptop with ease. I am looking forward to exploring more deeply what this machine can do in regards to running multiple programs at once and how much more efficient it will allow me to be. The only downsides so far are that it is pretty heavy, and there is no case created for it yet, and given how expensive this machine is I would really like some protection. But other than that, I love it.
