Lived up to all expectations. I wanted a system primarily for compact "desktop" use that still let me travel with it occasionally. My highest priority was to drive dual 4K monitors at 60 Hz. It runs cool and quiet on the shelf with the cover closed. I've had no issues so far, but my past experience with Surface products is that they're very reliable, and Microsoft support is excellent.

Specs are awesome this is much better than the XPS13 I am moving from.

I am disappointed in this laptop by Microsoft. It looks nice and seems nice but there are issue which you should not have with a PC at this price. First, it's power cable connection is flimsy and not secure. Also, Microsoft uses a special connection so you cannot use another PC's cable. Second, the laptop is very glitchy; there is a software issue which I am not sure what it is. It heats up pretty bad. Third, battery life is bad. This laptop drains the battery fast. I only use it for office work and need to always have it plugged in, Here is the fourth and worst problem: it is very slow for the specifications it is supposed to have. I honestly regret buying it and would recommend against it. I wish I bought Dell, Hp, or Lenovo. I think all would have offered better components and better PCs. Microsoft should stick to software and focus on fixing the very many glitches it has in its software.

This was a replacement for a Surface Book. MS personnel stated the Studio would be the replacement, without being able to detach the screen. I like the functionality of the Studio, as it lies flat when using the pen. Don't have to be concerned with battery in just the screen as you did with the book.

Great machine. Lacks some power for more demanding games but its not really geared towards that. Absolutely fantastic for 3D rendering and video/picture editing. Runs simulation software with ease very happy with this laptop

Very nice laptop. I was a little reluctant to purchase this laptop for my son going to engineering school. It has been a very good purchase so far. Very nice screen and very functional.

Purchased for son going to njit. Meets all the he specs they listed. Way overkill but it is compact, has a stencil and probably 10 hours of battery life. Engineering students dream.
