This works well with my Surface Pro. I have used it with a 6 foot VGA and a 75 foot VGA. No performance issues or low quality signals here!

Works perfectly. I needed this last minute for a video presentation: my surface pro to an old school projector. This worked flawlessly. Worth the price and the 100mi round trip drive to pick it up. Highly recommend…just, plan ahead and have it on hand.

I've learned that OEM Microsoft accessories are the way to go. I bought one of these aftermarket before which actually damaged the pins in my Surface. OEM is the way to go.

Performs it's function admirably. Needed to connect an older but still in the box monitor to my laptop and surprise - no hdmi or disply ports on it - only vga. This was the ticket. Hooked it up and it works fine.

I got this for my Surface Pro 3 to be able to project my computer on a screen during meetings. It worked but was disappointed because it was a low resolution image that appeared blurry. Maybe I do not know how to use this attachment to select the resolution for projecting the image. Just wanted to let others know that this may be a potential issue for your use.

Product was purchased to prevent having to trash perfectly useful but older office monitors. This product matches the description and does what we need it to do. Easy to use.

I often travel to client sites for meetings and usually end up connecting for presentations. Not as frequently as before, but often enough, they still only have the VGA connections. This is good to have on hand.

Although this is Microsoft Branded for their Surface Pro mini DisplayPorts - this works on any computer with a mini-DisplayPort to VGA.

if you have a old monitor that has a vga output, this is for you. Makes it easy to connect surface products to monitors

If you have monitors requiring VGA input and plan to use the Microsoft Surface Dock then you need to purchase these to complete your setup.
