I'm happy this was in stock, as I prepare to work from home during this COVID 19 situation we are all facing. I needed this for my monitor, and am glad Best Buy had it available to purchase.

works great if you want to add an external monitor to your surface device.

Needed a backup VGA adapter for the Windows Surface Book. The cheaper ones don't always work but the MS ones will work. You need to watch out for the earlier version where the Mini Display port worked for the older Surface Pros since that one is angled.

The adapter was the perfect solution. Hook up was quick and easy.

I recently bought a Surface Pro 5 and tried out the less expensive, off-brand, multi-port adapters, despite their questionable reviews. I very quickly learned that it was a mistake, as the adapter didn't work out of the box. This adapter works without fail and is built sturdy. I only wish I had a better way to keep track of it, but that's not the fault of the product.
