    I use this adapter to extend the screen from my Surface Pro 4 to my old desktop monitor. Having 2 screens to work from or watch a movie on one & work from the other is very convenient.

    Wish it cost about half as much but at least it is built well and is a solid accessory. If you need VGA from your surface or even other device this is a good way to go.
