    Not compatible with “Go” laptops

Not compatible with any of the “Go” laptops. Called Microsoft to find out why it won’t write on the screen of my Surface Go 2. My finger can but the pen won’t. Rep told me that the “Go” devices don’t have the pen software/features. I shouldn’t opened it when I first got it. Now it’s too late to return it. 100.00 down the drain. The website and Best Buy says it’s compatible but it’s not. Save your money.

I have tried several pens from different brands and this one was by far my favorite. It has a good weight, it looks great, and it writes well. It is a little pricy, but I was able to get it on sale. The eraser is great and I really haven't seen that on other pens. My only wish is that the side button would be a little easier to find and click.

This pen is great and I have the Matte Black color. This pen does the job for me especially when using it for graphic design, drawing, writing notes, and using it like a mouse... it is compatible with Adobe if you're wondering. It is powered by a battery and it is not rechargeable so if the battery runs out of juice you would have to purchase a new one. The pen I have has no lag and like I said it does the job. It has a strong magnet so it does connect to the side of my Microsoft Surface Pro 7 laptop and sticks on pretty good because of the strong magnets and I don't have to worry about it coming off my laptop. It feels good to hold has some good weight to it but not heavy. It has two buttons one on the side and one on top and you can customize each button to perform different duties.

The Microsoft Surface Pen is an indispensable tool that combines precision, versatility, and an intuitive design, making it a must-have accessory for Microsoft Surface users. As a digital artist and avid note-taker, I have extensively used the Surface Pen and can attest to its exceptional performance. Here's my review. The design of the Microsoft Surface Pen is sleek and elegant, with a comfortable grip that provides a natural and ergonomic feel. Its lightweight construction makes it easy to handle for extended periods, ensuring a fatigue-free experience during creative sessions or note-taking marathons. The pen's streamlined body and minimalist design exude sophistication and complement the aesthetic of the Surface devices. One of the standout features of the Surface Pen is its remarkable sensitivity and precision. With 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, the pen effortlessly captures the subtlest of strokes, delivering an impressively natural and responsive drawing experience. Whether you're sketching intricate details or shading gradients, the Surface Pen faithfully translates your artistic intentions onto the digital canvas, resulting in stunningly lifelike creations. The Surface Pen also supports tilt functionality, allowing you to vary line thickness and shading by simply angling the pen. This feature adds another dimension of creativity and control, enabling artists to achieve nuanced and expressive strokes, closely resembling traditional drawing techniques. The combination of pressure sensitivity and tilt support makes the Surface Pen an exceptional tool for artists of all levels. Furthermore, the Surface Pen offers seamless integration with Microsoft Surface devices, providing a cohesive and efficient workflow. The pen magnetically attaches to the side of compatible Surface devices, ensuring convenient storage and quick access whenever inspiration strikes. The palm rejection technology intelligently ignores accidental touches from your hand, allowing for a comfortable and uninterrupted drawing or writing experience. The battery life of the Surface Pen is impressive, lasting for an extended period before requiring a recharge. Additionally, the pen supports fast charging, allowing you to get back to your creative pursuits in no time. The customizable button on the pen can be programmed to perform various functions, such as launching apps, activating the eraser, or accessing specific shortcuts, enhancing your productivity and workflow. While the Surface Pen excels on Microsoft Surface devices, it is also compatible with other touchscreen devices, albeit with slightly limited functionality. However, to truly unlock the pen's full potential and enjoy all its features, using it with a Microsoft Surface device is highly recommended. In conclusion, the Microsoft Surface Pen is a powerful and versatile tool that seamlessly combines precision, responsiveness, and intuitive design. With its exceptional sensitivity, tilt support, and seamless integration with Surface devices, the Surface Pen empowers artists and note-takers to express their creativity and ideas with unparalleled accuracy. Whether you're a professional artist or a student, the Surface Pen is a valuable companion that enhances your digital experience and brings your imagination to life.

This is great for using the on the Surface. It's a pen there really is not much to say about it. Overall it had little input delay and the software windows uses with pens works fantastic with this pen. The battery life is great. You can replace the tip if it gets worn even though it is high quality it would take a LONG time to get worn. I love the eraser on the back makes it really feel like a real pen. I would recommend this to any student with a touch screen laptop. The only bad thing I can say about this is it's $100 a bit pricy but worth it.

I think this pen is a must have for the surface unless you're always going to use the type cover. It's a great mouse replacement for tablet mode, and it's pretty good for creative uses too, with pressure sensitivity and a useful eraser end that some 3rd party programs actually know what to do with. It also feels good to hold, got some weight but isn't heavy, and its comfortable to use for a long time. It's just a bit pricey, but there's really no alternatives that offer the same quality and features, so it is what it is. I still think it's a great product and it's probably worth the price if you know what you're getting.

I really love this pen. It works great with surface devices and surface duo without the need to pair. The color is very trendy. I finally bought a hard pencil case because it will break if you just throw it in your bag without any protection against rubbing.

Got this on sale, and still I think its too expensive. This device should be closer to forty bucks. Wanted to stay matched with my new Surface Pro 6, so went ahead and took the deal price. For business use, I find that this pen is more than up to the task. It is accurate and the lag is practically non-existent for this use. You flip it around and the eraser end actually works that way. There are two buttons. One near the write end, and the eraser is a button. Dont use them, dont know what they are for. The included tip seems well-suited for general usage. I have since added a glass screen protector to my SP6, and this pen still works flawlessly for business use. For artists and people looking to draw, make sketches, and things like that, you will likely be disappointed. Just like with the Apple pen, these things are just not there yet. It can work. You can use it to draw within an acceptable margin of aggravation. But, its just not the real thing. Its just not. Although there are many people in denial over this, the Apple Pen is no better. Minute and insignificant differences. Minor pluses and minuses both ways. It does hold to the left side of my SP6 rather well, although, it also can be placed on the right side with less of a magnetic hold. However, I would not trust either side for transportation. You are better off storing the pen another way if you want to keep it. Overall, this is rather pricey, but it is a good product for business use and that is what I wanted it for.

This electronic pen works with the Surface family of computers. I currently have the Surface Go 2. The pen can be used with a number of software applications, such as Microsoft Word and Whiteboard. Whiteboard comes loaded on the Surface Go 2, and I really like it. The batteries in this pen last a really long time, depending on how much you use it. It is magnetic, so it sticks to the computer, making it easier to find. It is just the right size and weight, and feels good in your hand when writing or drawing. This is an excellent companion to the Surface computers that can be used in tablet mode.

I just purchase a surface go recently and today picked up the pen also. It’s really simple to connect and the accuracy when writing is really good. I like that I can write on the screen in my hand writing or click the keyboard and have my writing typed out. The pen serves as a mouse also.

The surface pen is about as good as a stylus can get. It writes great on my surface book and the features it has allow you to do a lot of cool stuff. I particularly like being able to program the buttons on it for different actions. If you have a surface computer you really should get one of these to go with it or else you're missing out on half the functionality. The only gripe I have with the pen is its cost. The $100 Microsoft wants for it is pretty steep, I found one at my best buy for $50 on sale though

This is a beautiful pen to use, it feels very natural and the blue color is awesome. It has good battery life and is very easy to pair with your device. I prefer it to the second gen model because of its shape, as I do not like the flat sided design of the second gen. it is light weight and feels good in your hand. Microsoft makes quality products. Great purchase!

I do design work both professionally and recreational and this pen makes my time spent with digital design both easier and fun. It's accuracy to the screen is incredibly useful and makes drawing digital feel natural again. Super simple connection and once I got it I was hooked. I find myself doodling in my down time with it since it has such a pencil to paper feel. Artists of all abilities should give this a shot and see for themselves how much they'd enjoy it.
