I like using a stylus with my devices. This one is made for the Surface pro and actually pairs with it. In addition to the usual stylus functions, the top acts as an eraser which is handy. The magnets hold it on to the side of the Surface pro 7, but watch out, it can be knocked off pretty easily.

OMG! I love love love this pen! It connected on its own, it is lite and easy to use and bring able to write on the touch screen instead of typing is incredibly easy and makes my life easier!! If you get the surface pro... you MUST get the pen too! I just wish they had a purple 1!?

This is a great pen. I haven't had any problems using the pen with my Surface Pro 7. I love drawing little things for my students. I recommend for anyone who loves to draw or take notes. It has really saved me in meetings when needing to take notes.

again, like all Microsoft products, I love the fact that there is no real download or steps to follow to connect Microsoft accessories to my surface laptop. this pencil is light and very practical. I own an apple pencil, and this is lighter and more defined then the one I use on my ipad pro tablet.

This pen really should be included with the surface pro, but not mandatory for good user experience. I don't use it every day, but when I want it, I'm glad it's there. I wish the magnetic hold was stronger to the side of my surface pro, but I'm grateful that it is as good as it is. I debated about getting the previous model pen or the bamboo pen (I borrowed a friends bamboo pen for a few days) but I'm glad I splurged on this one. It was very difficult to find in stock though. I thought I would want a clip for it, but being clip free and using the magnet on the left side of the surface pro screen is the slimmest and most convenient option for me. It does come off if I bump it sometimes and I worried I might bump it off and not notice ... then will lose a $100 pen

The surface pen is a great addition to the Surface Pro. It is easy to hold, great size and lightweight. I like the eraser effect and the tip of the pen is perfect for writing or drawing. The button on the side of the pen is helpful once you get used to it.

I bought this for my Surface and it works amazingly. I use my Surface for crafts and this pen is so useful. It was a bit pricey but once I started using it and found it to helpful that it was definitely worth every penny.

I thought I would need a Wacom or other brand and only purchased this because there was a discount when I bought my Surface. I have been pleasantly surprised with the functionality and build. It does everything I need and its design is simple and functional. I use it mostly for sketching.

I know this pen was expensive compared to other brands, but it responds super fast without any lag. Eraser works just like a pencil eraser without the effort. Handwriting and picture drawing is amazingly easy with this pen. Ease of use plus the ability to stick via magnet on the side of my Surface Book 2 makes it a winner.

Bought this for my son to use with his Surface and couldn’t be more happy! The best feature about this stylist is the eraser! He loves using it for math and doesn’t have to worry about hitting the “undo” button. Highly recommend!

This pen is a replacement pen. I use it daily to take notes in all my college classes and it has saved me a lot of time. Very easy to use. My first pen stopped working after 7 months. I hope this pen lasts longer because it is rather pricey, and I am on a college budget.

This is the best kind of pen that you can get for the Microsoft surface, it's just really expensive. The third-party surface pens don't really work as well. They're not bad but they're not as good as The ones that Microsoft makes. That said, I ended up returning it because of the price. I had a serious case of buyers remorse.

This came with my Surface Pro 7 in a bundle along with the keyboard. I probably wouldn't have paid to buy it separately but it's proven to be fairly useful. It works very well and is extremely accurate and easy to use. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who likes to draw.

Good quality, wish it came with the Surface Pro rather than having to buy it separately. Works well with the Surface Pro and very helpful to have when you have fat fingers and are trying to use the touch screen.

It was super easy to learn how to set up the pen. It took some time to get used to since it feels slightly bulkier to use, just my preference and me being used to a regular pen. But it writes smoothly, especially to draw with!

Great for note taking during class! Allows me to draw small diagrams and examples needed for studying.

I use this Microsoft pen daily at work on my Surface Pro 7! I tried a dupe and it just didn’t work well. I’m glad I spent the money for the Microsoft one!

This pen makes life so much easier and is highly entertaining with the random tasks it is capable of. I’m exchanging mine today for one that matches my other accessories but besides the color it’s the perfect fit for me and what I required it for.

I will admit, I got this because it was on clearance and with my BB rewards, I was able to get it for .97 cents. But, the other reason was I wanted something round. I have the Slim Pen 2 and love it, but sometimes I just want something round to write with. This pen is perfect. It’s just as responsive as the Slim Pen, at least to me. I don’t do any art, just use them to write and use sometimes as a mouse. But I notice no difference. I have a privacy screen on my SP and it works right through with no skipping or missing strokes. It comfortable and easy to use, and connected effortlessly to my 11, 9 and Go 3. I’m glad I picked up it, as the comfort and feel is nice, and the fact that you can also swap out tips for different “hardnesses” for the pencil, it’s great. If you’re looking for a round pen that works very well, I would pick one up.
