Pen is great not sure what the button on the side is for but that's my fault lol.also it's, is kinda pricey maybe a regular stylus will work for most people. If you do art go with the pen. Other than that the product is great

This product is a life saver! It works so great with my Surface, battery life is amazing!! I would recommend this product to anyone! I love the weight of it specifically!

It does well drawing in painting programs like photoshop on my surface I don't need to calibrate or download any special drivers I just insert the battery sync it with the surface and it is good the go. The battery life on the pen lasts a long time I have been using it to draw since may about an hour a every other day on average and it has 79 percent. My only two gripes with it are that it only has one button and you can't make it function as right click. The second is a nitpick but after a while you will get residue on where the magnets are when you attach it to the tablet however if you use a case with a clip it's avoidable.

There's no comparison. I believe Microsoft has designed the most comfortable and well-performing active stylus on the market. This is the perfect way to do notetaking or art on a mobile device. It's also great to use just to have a precision pointing device for your Surface. It makes navigation a breeze. I've tried the Apple Pencil, and in my opinion this accessory is superior. I love the intuitive and natural "turn over to erase" functionality and I love the accuracy and smoothness you feel when you write with this. If it breaks, I would buy it again without question. I highly recommend this accessory. My only qualm is that it is a bit expensive, but I still recommend purchasing it.

Very smooth to write with. I love how the top can be used as an eraser. I would say it's an absolute must-have to complete the surface pro experience.

Had previous pens. This one is lighter amd more sensitive making it easier to do all konds of things from note taking to drawing. Recommend getting the pen if you plan to get a surface for school

This pen is a must have for anyone working with drawings or likes to create art with their surface. Feels great in hand and reacts to smooth with the screen. We love it.

Best Surface Pen yet! A little pricy at $99.00 but it will last a lifetime. Very durable and responsiveness is Excellent. I use it every day for work taking notes with the pen on Word Templates. Multi function buttons for setting it up as you like. I kind of wish it had a pen clip to make sure it doesn't slip out of the Surface Pro Tablet cover I use. You just have to be extra careful it doesn't slip out and hit the floor, because the tips can break. However, replacement tips are easy to replace and you can find good deals on eBay or Amazon.

I am shocked at how accurate this pen is. It is great to use when taking notes, and I find it completes the surface go experience. I enjoy how it stays in place firmly on the surface go.

I'm an engineer, and I use my Surface Go 2 to primarily mark up drawings in the feild. The pen does a great job. Really acurate and intuative to use. Also has a good feel to it.

The surface pen is sleek. The use of the pen keeps the screen clean and finger smudge free. Quick and easy to flow through material you are reading. Haven't learned about other creative uses as of yet....

Love my surface pen! It's so smooth on the screen and stays charged up. It's lightweight so it doesn't affect my carpal tunnel. Definitely recommend.

I am a tattoo artist that was brought up in a time of pencils and paper. I was reluctant to shelve my ole’ tried and true #2 but, it’s a new era and leading the way I can say with out a moments hesitation is the Surface Pro7 and its multifunctional Pen. An issue I’ve seen with other brands and even earlier models of the Surface Pro tends to be lagging. I went in with very little expections and left a true believer. They hit the nail on the head this time. Take it from Someone who uses it every day to put food on the table. It stands Right next to any after market Pen out there today.

Gotten the pen for online classes for writing on pdfs. Compared to some bulky stylus my high school offered, this pen was so great. There were no rough lines drawn for notes and the eraser feature on the tip felt so natural.

Received it last year for Christmas and I’m still I. Love!!! Battery is great!!! Love the color!!! Can’t talk about the glide on the surface pro!

Works very well with my tablet. I like that I can use the other end to erase my writing/drawing to make it easier while working

Easy to use, compatible with the Surface Pro and almost feels like an ink pen you would write with on paper. It can also be used like a mouse. Great product and design!

The stylus is very accurate with the touch / movements. I love the features such as right clicking with it as well. It's expensive to me; just like any other stylus. Overall it's a good stylus.

The pen is smooth and the digital ink glides across the screen without any noticeable delay and an impressive level of sensitivity! The surface settings also allow you to adjust the pen’s shortcut buttons and sensitivity settings. I can’t say whether it makes a difference on previous surface models, but using this on the Surface Book 2 is excellent for graphic design, writing and anything else one might use a stylus for. I used my friend’s pen that she got with the surface 4 pro and although both pens look similar, this new model is a big improvement! I probably wouldn’t get it if I had a Surface Book 1 or anything before that because Microsoft reported that not all surface models support the updated sensitivity with this pen.

Works great. Last one went out on me after about 3 years of use so definitely worth the money.
