This pen works great fresh out of the box. It is easy to use and no settings are necessary. Of you do want to add settings or shortcuts you can within a few minutes.

I have used almost every Surface Pen right from Original Pro. I have seen the pen progress over the period. This is the most precious pen I could use it in my software engineering and other engineering diagrams and documentation including taking notes. The only thing I would like to see in this is having light(s) that could tell me if I using that particular shade of color, writing, erasing etc. tasks.

This pen is incredibly easy to use and I find it makes using the Microsoft Surface Go much more efficient and useful. I bought it thinking it would be an unnecessary piece of hardware, but in fact I use it all the time and I can see it being useful for many other applications that aren't a part of my job duties. I would recommend this item without hesitation.

This is the first Surface Pen I've bought, and I chose it specifically because I wanted an easy way to mark up documents and textbooks while using my new Surface Pro 2017. Unfortunately, the tablet no longer is sold with the pen - a huge knock on MSFT to start - but the benefits of spending the extra $99 on one are substantial. It's very responsive, extremely easy to use and makes for a helpful stand-in for a trackpad/mouse (an issue iPad Pro owners are all too familiar with). Unfortunately, there are some issues with my unit. The button at the top only intermittently works - immediately after pairing, it works perfectly, but then a week after I'll try to use it to pull up OneNote or take a screenshot and it does literally nothing. I'm not sure why this is - the battery is brand new. It's not a deal breaker for me as I rarely use the shortcut, but it is an important feature of the pen that I think should have been ironed out before it went on sale. Either way, I'm happy with my purchase and it really completes the Surface Pro set for me.

I really enjoy using this pen for my tablet/laptop. Im not the best artist, but it makes it easier to draw.

I’m trying to find a replacement pen for my surface pro 2. Although beautiful and a nice weight and color this pen does not work with surface pro 2. It synced but was unresponsive on the screen. I would recommend for other compatible devices but not for the surface pro 2.

I like the pen because it is very useful and convenient to bring it. However, the price is expensive.

The pen works as stated. It meets my needs. It is a necessity for the Surface Pro.

I like the fact it can stick to the side of the surface tablet, however, the magnet is not strong compared to ipad. It takes a battery to operate which comes in the box. There is a configurable button on the pencil.

The pen is just the right weight, the magnets are super strong so I rarely lose it. It works as designed, with pressure sensitivity and easily glides across the screen

This is my second Surface I have owned, and my first one I had the Surface pen. It worked beautifully. This new one is even better. I love the eraser at the top, just like a pencil. It is very comfortable in my fingers, and I love the magnetic function that secures it to the side of my surface with the case loop. Highly recommend this pen.

Really good pen for your surface. It has a nice tip and it also has a very long battery life. It hasnt died once since i got it a while ago. You need a triple A battery for this pen.

This was something I actually hadn’t planned on purchasing, but they were running a package deal on accessories for the tablet I bought so I ended up getting it. I’m so glad I did! I love this pen, it works great! I use it way more than I ever thought I would, it really comes in handy. I would recommend it highly.

This is just another stylus for a computer. Too bad it’s pricy, it does work very well with the Surface Pro tablet. Easy to use and a great accessory for the artists that want to take advantage of the surface’s art apps.
