I don't always use mine, but I love it for taking notes in a meeting or marking up a PDF file that I have dropped into OneNote. They just work great. They are well made and the battery has lasted a long time on the other Surface Pen we have.

I'm very happy that I finally decided to invest money to buy this pen. I love how it feels when writing on my tablet and more than anything else, I love that I no longer misplace it since it attaches to my tablet!

The tip is very responsive and it has the ability to "program" what the buttons do. The magnets that hold it to the side of the tablet seem to be a little stronger than the original pen that I got when I purchased the tablet about 18 months ago. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it doesn't have the clip on it so you can attach it to your pocket or firmly secure is to the carrying case rather than just trusting the magnets.

The best pen out there!

You will spend double the $ if you buy an imitation. Just spend the money once and be happy. You'll be glad. The pen is amazing how well it works and the interface by pressing the buttons on the back and how it sticks into the tablet with the magnetic field. Love this pen!

Its dependable and have great colors in its software. A friend turned me on to buying a surface pro x. So, naturally the next best thing was purchasing the pen. Since, I already had everything else to support my laptop.

I've used a Wacom Bamboo writing pad with my prior laptop that didn't have touch screen capabilities and it pales in comparison to the responsiveness and realistic feel of the Microsoft Surface Pen.

I have an HP Spectre that comes with a pen, but I prefer the surface pen with it. All the functionality of the pen works with the computer, no issues.

It is much easier for my husband to use his Surface Pro pinpointing the item he wishes to click on by using his pen. He really enjoys the Pen as a new tool for his Surface Pro.

So got the new surface book 2 and got this pen to go with it and I have to say I am very glad I did. The pen is responsive, comfortable and very easy to use. Works great with paint 3D and now it has resparked my interest in drawing. Really glad I got this as it is far more than just a gimmick
