I like the ease of movement between the tablet and keyboard (I purchased a keyboard as well) it took a couple of tries to understand how to do it but after a bit it was successful! The speed in which the drive works is wonderful. My mate has an older Dell and we started a download at the same time and mine whizzed right by!

I got the SurfacePro to augment my work laptop. Although the laptop is perfect for working remotely, I found myself needing to work from places other than my home. (like the hospital). The laptop became cumbersome. After reading many reviews, I decided to get the SurfacePro - that fits easily in my 'purse' without weighing me down. Since we use Office 365, I have no problems accessing files and email wherever I am. I got the magnetic keyboard, LOVE that. one click and its all connected. I do have a bit of a problem with the touchpad - but I have the same issues with any touchpad. So a small Bluetooth mouse was added to my gear. the connection speed is fast and I can get through my work with ease on the bright screen. I do save working on the massive Excel files for the bigger screen of the laptop, but have pulled them up for review without issue. I am quite pleased with my choice and would recommend a SurfacePro to anyone looking to augment (or replace) their current laptop.

This is my second surface pro tablet. It's very versatile and great for school.

This is a bad as toy to say the least. Definitely the best out there. No comparison or competition. Highly recommended

For those who are looking for a portable device and a decent level full laptop functionality combined in one good device, Surface Pro is the one. The resolution is fantastic for a movie watching experience and the OS is customised for the device. Weight is optimum and the processor being fanless behaves as a tablet with no noise.

Would recommend to anyone. Versatile. Light. Sleek.

I bought the surface pro so I can hook up to my secure network at work. It is awesome. Portable and light.

It’s very convenient to take to coffee shops or take notes in a classroom. I would say there should be more plugins for projectors and such. Have to buy separate item for those plugins.

After using my Surface for over a year, I have been thoroughly satisfied with the quality and speed of this device. I use the Surface Pro to take notes during class instead of using notebooks. The Surface rarely freezes even when running larger programs.

Wanted to treat my wife to the latest technology. Within 1 week of using her new Laptop, She absolutely loves how light this thing is & the touchscreen Pen thing is amazing. She says her level of efficiency has gone up with this thing. Going to meetings & taking notes is a breeze.

Even though this is one of the basic models, it can handle a lot of tasks you throw at it. Downloads, installations, apps, and Adobe photoshop or Adobe Lightroom CC run just fine. I don't recommend Gaming unless you download games from the Microsoft Store. It lags too much to game

Very good tablet/computer for my needs. Portable, user friendly, etc. Sometimes it acts a little buggy, but seems to work itself out.

This laptop does everything I need and more! I purchased one for my sister since she just taxes and she can’t stop talking about how great it is. The size and weight are perfect for carrying it around. I used mine for school initially and now use it for work to enter in data.

I'm heading to college and I honk this is a great tablet for it. The apps that allow writing on PDF are nice. It's light and compact. Only reason I gave it a four star is the price. After getting pen, keyboard, screen protector, and case, the whole thing was close to 1800. Laptops and computers cost less but I like the portability of this more

I looked at this computer for a long time before buying it. It's a lot of money to drop on a computer, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. I love how portable it is. I can do so many things with it. It is so powerful that I feel like it will serve me well for a long time.

I am loving my new Surface Pro. I used to rarely ever carry my laptop with me outside my home but I am finding myself carrying my Surface Pro everywhere. The feel of the Surface Pen on the screen is awesome and allows me to work on my art just as if I was working on a paper pad, if not better. The laptop/tablet is very responsive and I love how vibrant the screen looks. I definitely recommend the Surface Pro.

I retired my old Toshiba laptop that was not only bulky, but outdated and slow. I had been keeping my eye on these Surface Pros for some time, and with the release of the SP6, I took advantage of the discounts for the 5th gen. So far, everything has worked out great. I am able to keep up with my work assignments more efficiently and with less headaches. The only issue I had, is that the single USB port does not provide enough power to operate my Passport portable hard drive. The issue is mitigated with a dock, but I have found that saving from the Surface Pro directly to the Passport has resulted in some lock ups that required a restart, without it saving. It's easier to just save to the SP hard drive and transfer to the portable. That's my only issue that only required a workaround. Other than that, it's a great product and one that will work with me for quite some time.
