After owning this tablet for 2 years; It has completely died. Ended up buying a slim laptop that works much better than the surface. Wanted to love this. Also, Disappointed how heavy this was. Will not purchase again.

I have had about a year with this model and other than the price being really high, it only needs a couple of upgrades. First is an on board GPS and the other is the actual battery time that's advertised. I use my laptop daily and really like it but I think I will buy the I5 250gb next as it is quieter, battery life may even be more than this model and I could buy 2 for less than the I7 1TB model.

I am amazed with this device. It is superior In every way to what I've used for years. Fast, quiet and capable. A home run for MS.

Purchased the computer on June 2nd and have had so many BSOD instances. Once it crashed during an update and I could no longer access the restore options. I had to download the files from a second computer. The problems began immediately when it tried to update to version 1803. This crashed the surface pro several times before it gave up on trying to install that update. Most of the crashes appear to happen when Windows Defender randomly updates. I can't be certain of that, but when I reboot, it shows an update on that date was installed. I will have to return this Surface Pro. At this price, the tablet should be flawless. Extremely disappointed. The 1803 update did eventually install, but it didn't fix the daily BSOD issues. Other than that, it seems to be a very fast computer that would be everything one would want a computer to be.
