Lots of features including a touch screen, latest Microsoft software (Creators update). Set up is very fast and easy. Using Windows 10-the surface pro can easily switch for desktop to tablet mode. Very portable but needs a cover (sleeve or keyboard cover) for protection.

Had toyed with the idea of using an iPad pro. No way to use an iPad for custom Access application development. Surface pro is perfect. Easily protable very fast and is made to run Microsoft office.

Performance wise, it's off the charts. Nothing is slimmer or lighter. Windows 10 is running like a dream - stable, fast, and error free.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited a loooong time for the updated surface - I originally wanted to get one in December, but figured that a refresh was coming out soon as the Pro 4 was over a year and old at that point ... it was a long wait. Now that I have one, it is pretty amazing, though it has shut down on me inexplicably a few times, so I had to get it looked at - highly recommend the MS warranty. Had to wait for the signature cover and am now waiting for the pen in a color I want ... lots of waiting, but well worth it.

It works flawlessly with all of the 365 programs. I would rate five stars but Microsoft now offers a drop protection plan like geek squad...for less. Microsoft student discount is also better than best buy. I would buy the product again though. After all Microsoft wants you to ship and receive. Best buy want you to stop by and your done. In college, days count.
