We're glad you are enjoying the device. It is normal when you are charging a device or if the device has high CPU for it to become warm to the touch. To reduce heat-related concerns, set up your device on a stable work surface that allows for adequate air circulation under and around the device. Use caution when operating your device on a pillow, blanket, or other soft material, because the material can block the airflow which may result in the device overheating. I love that I have the choice of sitting at a desk and using the keyboard or pulling off the keyboard and just using the monitor as a touch screen for playing games. It is easy to use either way. It takes a little bit of time to get used to the small keyboard but I am really enjoying my new purchase.

I ended up trading this in for the m3 model to get better battery performance. I can stream my steam games to the tablet and t will use my desktop graphics card. It will also run STATA and eviews flawlessly

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to replace my Sony Vaio because it could not keep up with the latest WiFi modem speed (I’ll keep it for hardwired connection) and also my 2nd Gen iPad. This Surface was the best solution. There is still a learning curve (Vaio has Windows 7) but I love that I can draw and write on it. Storage is a bit small, but I have a recycled external hard drive with 250 GB which I’ll use for backup and art. Overall, I am very happy with my buy
