I absolutely love the easiness of using this device....the features are amazing....I also love that I can take it everywhere with me because of its size!!

I’ve used an iPad and Laptop for years. This is the first time I’ve been happy with a tablet style computer. The iPad was great for its ultra portability but lacked support for full fledged applications like photoshop. Laptops were always too cumbersome to lug around every day. Finally the Surface Pro allows me to get work done with all my windows apps but in a portable package. It’s fast, has great resolution, it’s light and portable and has great battery life. I highly recommend getting the surface pen and the keyboard cover as well for maximum utility. Overall, I’ve never been happier with a laptop as I am with the surface.

I have been an "Apple guy" for several years in both computers and tablets. However, I have been less and less impressed with Apple's take on personal computing and their OS. At the same time, I have become more and more impressed with Windows 10. Recently went back to a PC for work, and have not looked back. My iPad Pro just would not do all that I wanted it to. As a reader or for basic tasks, it was okay. However, I wanted to have better capabilities. I have to say that since my Surface arrived, I have been very impressed, and have not missed my iPad once. Speed is awesome, screen looks really good, and coupled with the Surface Pen and Keyboard Cover, this item really shines. Does everything my main computer will do in a package that is easy to carry along with me anywhere. Battery lasts all day, so you don't have to worry about being away from an outlet. Handles complex operations well. Even runs ProPresenter with no issues. Very impressed! Microsoft is doing a great job with these tablets!

I've owned many, many laptops. Not cheap ones either, top brands with their top promises. My most recent (prior to this purchase) was a Dell laptop and it was TERRIBLE!!! This Microsoft Surface Pro has the best of all worlds, the ability to be a tablet, laptop, etc. It offers such sleek portability, it's super fast and seems to effortlessly perform. This was the best purchase I've made in the laptop game.

I love that it is small and light enough to carry everywhere. It bends in a way that you don't have to be overly gentle and can be quick when setting up and working on projects. I pucharsed the attachable keyboard. I use it for home and work to edit high quality photos and basic web designs and it has just enough RAM to handle what I need, though I wish I could mod it to use more. Maybe I can? I recommend getting the coordinating stylus pen and a case for it.

Bought for my wife as a birthday gift. We liked how thin and light it is, and how it is a fully function pc, versus a tablet. After 6 months, it would not power up. Had to return it. Glad I had the Geek Squad protection plan. Received new replace model. 12 months later, the device would not charge. Best Buy could not do anything about it as I had used up the protection plan when we received our replacement Surface Pro. Had to go to Microsoft store, where they where able to swap out the charger for a new one. It seems that the original charger was under powered and it was causing problem. Might consider getting a new one when the time comes to get new PC. Both issues just may have been the result of bad power supply. We have had no issues since the replacement of the replacement power supply.

This my second gen surface owning and I must say. That they get better and better each year. All day battery life and ultra lightweight and portable. What else could you ask for?

The surface pro is super helpful for work related issues; I work in healthcare and its quick speed as well as ease of access and light weight are all key.

I am glad I managed to upgrade to a new Surface Pro 2017 model from an old Microsoft Surface 3. The improvements are immediately noticeable right from the start. People looking to purchase a new Surface Pro should try getting the Intel i5 processor model with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. And personally I had no problem paying the $800 price. Be sure to purchase a Type Cover too because it is a very important part of a more pleasant experience.

Excellent performance and portability, very fast start and slim design

The Surface Pro is phenomenal! I love everything about it. My favorite feature is that it is so light for carrying. I take my Surface Pro everywhere. I also have the Surface Arc Mouse and new pen. This combo is far superior to any other competitor including Apple. I own an IPad Mini 4 and love it but when it comes to a portable full function laptop, the Surface is the answer.

I bought this device for class and it is amazing!!! It is super responsive and supports full Microsoft programs and not just apps, has the full windows 10, and incredible battery life. Always had the device on the highest brightness and performance settings and lasted me most of the day. Was charging almost towards the end of the day. Great for media and content creation as well. The keyboard is awesome. Excellent key travel, well laid and responsive trackpad and every key has independent lighting. The pen is very responsive, fluid and is available in a variety of colors, also magnetic so can attach to the device without fear of losing it and has applications on almost every app and program. All in all excellent device, also very quiet and fabless Which makes it easier to use and does not overheat even with CPU and RAM intensive work. Would definitely recommend. Price is a bit on the high side but with Best Buy installments won’t be an issue.

Picked this up for my 13-year-old son. He uses it for school, Debate, and Mock Trial. LOVE the long battery life, slim and light design, and capabilities of this machine. Although it’s probably not ideal for a hard-core gamer, it is an excellent laptop/tablet for general use.

I've had a macbook forever but I needed another computer for school. This Surface Pro is perfect for everything!! I've been using it for making notes in digital books and reviewing study material. It's extremely quick and pretty easy to use.

I purchased the Surface Pro after having tried the Surface Go and finding that it did not have enough power to meet my needs. I absolutely love the battery life and that it has no cooling fans to suck up dust or generally be disturbing during meetings. Speaker quality is fantastic and the overall build quality. The bundled keyboard (I purchased a bundle) attaches magnetically and simply works without any significant impact to battery or performance. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs more power than a Surface Go, or anyone who is looking for a versatile machine that can be used as a laptop (with keyboard attached) while also having the convenience of a tablet.

This is a great replacement for any laptop or desk top. It has a great battery life and is very fast as far as start up and response to programs. I would recommend this to any student, businessman or general user like myself. It's fast starting and easy to use.
