I love this laptop/tablet I only wish I was informed to buy a micro card first because a lot of things took up memory in my surface pro so I brought a card later but had a hard time moving stuff around and I purchased the Greek squad but that’s no covered. Another than that I love it

      Hi Liz,

We're happy to hear you love the Surface Pro. Depending on how many GB's your model comes with and how much you are hoping to store, Surface Pro offers the option to expand your hard disk space at any time by simply inserting a microSD card. We apologize that was not immediately obvious. In addition, or as an alternative, we recommend looking into a cloud storage system like OneDrive for additional file storage.

      Take care,

I got this for my daughter's birthday. She is a graphic's design high school student and currently owns another graphics tablet that is connected to her PC. This new tablet gives her mobility and the pen gives her full control of her tools and program features. So far it has been a great investment in her future... plus it's a lot of fun.

One of the best computing devices that I’ve ever used. I flip back and forth with ease between the laptop and tablet modes, but mainly I stay in laptop and enjoy the extra tablet benefits such as touch and stylus. For someone who travels a lot on a plane, this device has been wonderful since I can work in tight spaces. It has a nice screen which is very bright and sharp, much better than my corporate laptop. This purchase included the keyboard which was nice. In the past you had to buy it separately.

I've debated between many different computers before settling on this Surface Pro. I tried the MacBook Pro (non-touchbar 256 GB model), the MacBook (m3), Lenovo Yoga 910, and SurfaceBook. I was concerned the Intel m3 and 4 GB of RAM wouldn't be enough. It's not a powerhouse, but it's worked great for what I've thrown at it. I don't game with my machine. I use it for work, on the go. I always have the Mail app open, Edge (12+ tabs), Internet Explorer w/ Silverlight, Excel, and often include other apps like the Calendar, Calculator and other apps. I haven't noticed any hesitation even with all of the above apps open simultaneously and including the multiple tabs. Color me impressed! Plus, the main reason I was willing to go with the m3 instead of an i5 or i7 was the better battery life. I've had the computer unplugged all day and never had a problem where I needed my charger. Some reviewers have complained about light bleed on the Surface Pro line; I haven't noticed that. Mine has been running well and I have no complaints. I've been using a MacBook Air since 2013, but I've never been afraid of Windows. MacOS has grown old and stale. Windows 10 is different than the Windows 7 I used last time I was in the Microsoft ecosystem, but it's not too difficult to adjust to. One of the biggest things I was concerned about losing when leaving Apple was their Coherence functionality between iPhone and MacOS. Using Windows 10 though, they've done a lot to include the same functions. I can open a website in Safari on my iPhone, the continue using it on my Surface. I can use the To Do app on my iPhone and it syncs just fine with the same app on my Surface. The only function I miss is being able to send/receive text messages on my computer. I suspect Microsoft is working on that too though because a friend says his Android has that ability. Definitely give this a second look if you're considering a computer. You'll be glad you did.

I've debated on getting the Surface Pro 4 for a very long time. I've been buying other laptop's, just beneath the price of the Pro 4 because I couldn't afford it. I ended up having to return them because they didn't meet me requirements, and spent a little more for the Surface. I'm a college student and an Entrepreneur, and so I need something that I can take with me everywhere, durable, fast, and of course aesthetically pleasing. This meets all of the requirements and more. It's one of those purchases that just keeps on surprising me. I've owned so many laptops, and I'm glad I bought this one because it blew the other ones I've had out of the water. I just wish I made the choice sooner! I won't be going back.

I'm just another typical IT guy who has pretty much built, owned, used, and repaired every type of device you can think of. When shopping for personal devices, I often times cringe at the thought of spending my own hard earn money when I can just use my business devices. At the end of the day, I still need something at home for personal use and my current laptop is at the 5-6 year mark. I had my eyes set on the Surface Pro i5 or i7 but the price is difficult for me to justify despite my constant desire for having the latest and greatest. When I saw the Core M go on sale during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday week, I couldn't resist getting it and trying it out. Honestly I was prepared to return it the moment I picked it up but once I started using it, I realized it's everything I wanted and needed performance wise. I have since used it in basic IT troubleshooting, meetings, note taking (lots of OneNote), and presentations. It's passed the wife and kids test too with their relentless urge to use it as a sketch-board and online shopping. It's handled everything I've thrown at it including having obscene number of tabs open in Chrome. The fact it's not weighted down with bloatware that you often find from other manufacturers is a HUGE plus. It's pretty much ready to go out of the box without investing hours of cleanup before you can put it through its paces. I think it's time to put the old laptop into retirement and keep the Surface Pro. Overall, if you looking for something with lightweight use (non-CAD apps or GPU intensive games), I think you'll be happy with the Core M. As for gaming, games such as Minecraft run flawlessly and there's plenty of YouTube videos and sites that show benchmarks for the Core M. It's a bargain when it's on sale considering it comes with the type cover. Would I have rather owned the i5 or i7 models? Of course but only because of my infatuation for having the best but those prices are a little scary for my needs. Needless to say, I'm impressed.

I was hesitant coming from my 4 year old Macbook Air which the battery was shot and that was getting kind of sluggish. But couldn't resist the black Friday deal. $630 with the keyboard. Best decision ever. The most gorgeous screen ever. Snappy and long lasting battery. I am averaging 9 hours or high 9. Its a little multitasking beast. Great security features. The intel core M will do most the work that mine old core 5 from 4 years ago could do or more. No hiccups so far. Buttery smooth. A little learning curve coming from a Mac but nothing complicated. Windows has really come a long way as far as changes and cleaning up the house. Super lightweight and convenient. Well built and honestly way more slick and sexy than my macbook air. Really happy.

This is a well built, premium device. Everything about it feels awesome. I love the new texture on the keyboard. I love the metal uni-body. The size and weight is super impressive for the specs. The battery weight has been incredible. I have never purchased a premium product like this because the price is usually too much for it to be worth it for me. I picked one up for Black Friday on the cheap with the plan to return it. I could not return it.

I kick myself for waiting so long to buy this, but alas, here it is. This thing is fast and has the ability to expand its memory if need be. I bought the pen also and my wife is addicted to using it for design. It's light and easy to use and I love the detachable keyboard. Stop wasting your time and spend the money. It's worth it!

So happy with this purchase. This is such a great device. All the power of a laptop with the ease of a tablet. It runs full windows 10. It is so light weight and the size is perfect for holding. The pen is so intuitive. I mainly purchased for its digital art capabilities and it has not disappointed. The pressure sensitivity is perfect. And if it isn't for you it can be adjusted. The screen is crisp and clear with great resolution. The battery life is very strong. You get a standard 6-8 hours depending on what you are doing. And it charges fully in about an hour. I also love the charging port. It's nice that it is close to flush to the device. If you are looking for a cost effective tablet that can double as a computer when needed I would definitely suggest this device.

Bought this when it was on sale for $629.99 to replace my Surface 3 (that still works perfectly). Needed a bigger screen but not a laptop since I am in school and work a full time job. Battery life is also very important since I will not be carrying the charger around with me. This fits my needs perfectly. A lot of 2 in1 and laptops say they are Windows ink compatible but don't always work the way it should. That was the main selling point for me. My books and homework are digital so all of my notes need to be digital as well. Definitely a great buy for any college student. Recommend purchasing a screen protector and a case to protect your investment.

I bought this basic bundle for 629 USD on black Friday. The M3 7Y30 is supper capable for what it is. The device is snappy and even with its low RAM of 4GB I can have multiple tabs open on the browser (RAM HOG), multiple adobe PDFs, Word Documents, and many other programs without a lot of slowing down. If the device is plugged in, it’s certainly a lot snappier and if you use Intel XTU you can see that it goes from 4.5 Watt to 15 Watt, allowing the CPU to reach its maximum GHz without throttling. I have tuned it using XTU to under-volt it and that way I can keep the temperature down and the battery life a bit longer. Overall the battery life is excellent. I chose the M3 over the i5 due to battery life and cost. The i5, 4GB, 128GB won’t be a lot faster due to its limited RAM, and if I went with the i5, 8GB, 256GB (Ideal set up for the i5), it would have been a lot more money. I already have multiple machines, so this one was purely for portability and now raw power. Goods -Battery life -Screen (Bright and Clear with minimal light bleed) -Power to portability ratio -Type cover is pretty nice -Portability -Quality Bads -I have not found any yet, well maybe the price outside of a deal!

For years I have been looking to purchase a Surface Pro but they seemed to be way out of my price range. They are really great products with great features for people who are into graphic design. I was able to get my Surface Pro for $629 in the run up to Black Friday. This one particular has a slightly slower process than the standard Surface Pro but it still gets the job done and performs very zippy! I would definitely recommend this for some who really wants a Surface at a slightly more affordable price.
