I have really enjoyed how light, compact, and versatile this device is; specially for going to school. It makes reading assignments a little easier than on a laptop because of the touch screen and detachable keyboard. I can zoom in, highlight, and scroll through easier. Love how it doesn't take up too much space in my backpack or weight it down. Only ding would be the battery is not as long lasting as I would have hoped.

Sleek, easy to carry around. Could use a bit more memory but overall a nice all-in-one package.

This functions very well as a tablet and with the included keyboard as a computer. It is excellent for surfing the web and running office applications... anything heavier may be outside this machines parameters. Overall a good value

love this thing I have been using it nonstop since I got it. drawing is on point and easy to move around with you very light weight. this is one those must have things for any one who loves to draw!

It's fast and lightweight. Takes a little bit of getting used to the way the keyboard attaches.

Great machine for my son. We are an Apple family, but my job gave me a surface pro. I really liked the design and the functionality of it. My son is an artist so this was better for us with his drawings. We changed out his MacBook Pro to this computer as drawing on the screen is better than on a tablet.

for an older model it runs smooth, the whole tablet conversion is sweet and it's all magnetic from power cable to keyboard. this is my first surface pro and I love it. I've had sony,hp,dell,mac, etc and I'm liking the change. also get 5he UAG Urban Armor Gear case its pricey but worth it.

Love the design and how light weight it is. Great for day to day use and very user friendly.

5th one I have purchased for our office. Prefect for an outside salesman who is on the road and needs the basics. Quick speed, great resolution. Great price and functionality for someone who is using it for Microsoft Office, Internet, and remote desktop functionality. Does what it needs.

I bought this for my husband who rinds his own business and he loves it! It makes life easier when traveling not having to tote around a laptop. It’s lightweight and has just enough space for what he needed. He is in the tax and finance industry so he didn’t need a machine with too much memory.

So far I am happy with the product. To be honest I like it more than I thought I would. I would have preferred a 10inch of the modelnif they had . This is only because it would be a better fit for travel. Having back lit keys are a plus. I have not used in touch screen mode as yet

Since the Surface came to the market this is my second one. I love that I can use is as tablet and at the same time as a laptop. I can complaint speed is OK and love the idea that I can use a wireless mouse as well as memory stick.

We bought one for our son and one for our daughter. Both enjoy this 2-in-1 immensely! My daughter prefers the tablet mode, but our son loves the computer/laptop mode. It is so versatile! The graphics are absolutely wonderful!

Although Intel's "Atom" family of processors famously save battery, Atom is made cheap by "lopping off" parts that deliver performance. Here, in this Surface 2017 edition, all the performance enhancing circuits are in this "y" series "Core 1,000" (roman numeral "M") chip and still you get lots of hours in "Battery Saver" setting without the size and weight of a jumbo battery....ideal for me.

Ever since I got this I haven't needed my laptop. Does all the basics I need and is pretty quick about it. Don't expect to run any games on it, but it'll handle excel, powerpoint without issues. Has really helped with my presentations and projects.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 17 year old daughter. A huge upgrade from her old laptop and exactly what she needed. She's loving the speed and responsiveness. The M3 processor does not seem to be an issue for her. Perfect for Office documents, web browsing and media streaming.

I have the M processor model. Fast enough. Good picture and great resolution. Somehow bulky as tablet and not very responsive at finger touch App dependant. I would not buy it at full price but for in the 7 hundreds dollars range is a good option. Sound is good, face recognition and very practical builtin stand.

Super easy setup, love versatility- can use as a tablet, desktop, with a keyboard and mouse, pen or finger! I purchased a usb hub so i can access micro sd and sd cards and attach a disc reader when necessary. Playback on tv through display port. Everything I needed!

This is the perfect size and just the right amount of computing power. Haven't had an issue with it. Runs fast with everything i have run so far on it. Wouldn't change for another product maybe a better version of the surface but this line is great
