I got this to replace my desktop and it does just that! I also use this when I'm at a photo shoot to check over my photos before leaving the site! This tablet/computer works for me and it also allows me to play a few games on steam as well!

I can see why Microsoft is having a hard time keeping these in stock. Easy to use and and I am able to do everything I can do on a desk top with it.

I love my surface tablers. I have had both the surface pro and the surface pro 2 and use them both daily. Also picked up the power cover from a local Microsoft store since Best buy did not carry them and it has given me 10+ hours of battery life.

The best tablet I have owned. it just needs more apps, but with programs like bluestack it makes it perfect.

I am very satisfied at this time.. It has a great windows program and very easy to use.. small and handy..

Bought it replacing my Sony Vaio and it is excellent as it can be as portable as a Tablet but it is a full functional computer.

It's really good product to use everyday everywhere. I can install windiws apps and regular desktop programes like adobe photoshop, games. just I don't like bestbuy customer service. I brought this product on 5/29 at bestbuy. On 6/13, I found $100 price drop at amazon. so I went bestbuy for price match they promised when I pay. But they said "no". The reason was bestbuy does price match with only "is sold by amazon" . not "fulfilled by amazon". what I am upset is, later days I found that bestbuy droped the price same with amazon.

I've had my pro 2 for about a month now and I use it for everything. The Microsoft store needs more apps, but this tablet is powerful, it is flexible and it is perfect for me. It was a total tablet and laptop replacement for me and well worth the cost.

This has the best of both worlds. Touch screen and Pen use. Windows 8 and Android operation.

After 4 weeks, I have to report I'm loving it. Previously a MacBook Air user I was forced to consider a windows system for work and plumped for the surface pro 2 256GB to replace my MacBook and ipad. Has some software issues like some software (chrome) doesn't display smooth fonts but easily solved by using another browser and to be honest the standard internet explorer works well anyway. Highly recommended.

The 2nd generation of Surface Pro 2 does everything a PC and a tablet can do. The hardware built itself is on par and even surpass many of the leading laptops, ultra-books and tablets out there. The current challenge is Microsoft needs to invest more and faster on encouraging developer creating more popular games and productivity apps in Metro-style. It has a real good chance to catch up on its loss of time to be a dominant force in this hybrid market space.

The best computer/tablet on the market. Window Operating System, apps could be more abundant, camera could be much better, Computer itself is excellent.

Overall a very good small computer. Also bought the keypad cover and docking station. Highly recommend the keypad.

This is a great small-in-size computer with a lot of punch. The touch screen is very accurate and is great for doing photo retouching with the stylus.

Instead of upgrading to the new iPad, I decided to make a switch and bought the Surface Pro 2. I'm so glad that I did! I can do so much more with it and now I can play some of my favorite computer games (might be at the lowest graphics settings for some) on the go. I could never do that with the iPad.

I wanted a tablet, but was convinced by a friend to get the Surface Pro 2, Was unsure about Windows 8, but after playing around and getting used to it, now I LOVE it! With my mobile hotspot and built in power supply in my vehicle, I can't wait for my upcoming cross-country trip. I have all the programs that are on my laptop.... I am amazed.

I love this device. I can easily work on MS Office documents. However, there are few MS apps in their app store and no 3g or 4g option.
