Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the Surface Pro 3's portability, weight, performance, and size, frequently praising its ease of use and design. Many appreciate the included pen and its capabilities. However, some users cite concerns regarding battery life, heat generation, and occasional fan noise. The device's performance is generally well-received, but thermal management appears to be an area needing improvement.

We use this tablet for 3-D and office management software demonstrations. It is powerful enough to handle everything without glitches or slowing down. It can handle whatever you need it to do at home, school, or the office.

Had the original Surface Pro, and liked it a lot. Upgraded to the Pro 3 and absolutely love it. I like the larger size, yet it is much thinner and lighter than the original. True laptop performance from a lightweight, easily carried tablet.

My first and biggest complaint is the battery life. I was having issues with the battery draining super fast and I got it under control only when I send the tablet into sleep mode every time I'm not using it. I guess I'm just used to my iPad conserving battery life on it's own. I second complaint is the learning curve to using the computer mode and tablet mode. It took me a while to figure out which mode I need to be in to use which app or how to locate an app once I downloaded it. Other than that, it's been really fun. I use it mostly for art and and digitizing pressure sensitive surface layer is exactly what I've been wanting out of a screen touch technology. If it didn't have that, I'd probably rate this a 3 star.

This thing does it all. I'm a soccer coach and I use it to show my players how-to videos, draw out plays, and keep notes. When I get it home, its the best laptop I've ever had.

Trying to simplify my life by combining tablet and laptop. So far so good but was advised to go with the three pro . I also review and specifically the I seven processor. Speed seems to be great I haven't tasked it too hard yet. Keyboard for me is a must and a Bluetooth mouse rocks. Next to upgrade with docking station :-)

I bought the surface pro because I was looking for a desktop replacement. I like features like split screen that allows me to run multiple apps side by side (up to three) and I can switch them out easily. The pen is excellent for taking notes and drawing. I use my surface pro for presentations and hooking them up to led tvs or monitors is easy with the mini port adapter. It is literally plug and play. One of the drawbacks is the 128 gb ssd. I should have bought the 256 or 512. However, you can use the usb to plug in a portable hard drive. Overall a great product and I would recommend it.

I upgraded to the Surface Pro 3 from the original Surface Pro. Having loved the original and seeing that Microsoft had only improved upon their solid foundation I felt that it was time to upgrade. Plus my kid had taken over the original. I was not disappointed. The Surface pro 3 is a solid tablet, fast, reliable and stable. I loved that it offers a desktop environment so I could install all of the different programs I needed that didn't have apps. A solid choice and a great tablet!

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a great device. I chose the 128 gigabyte so I could get the i7 chip and the upgraded graphics. I of course also purchases the keyboard and bought a blue pen to match my keyboard! Battery management is great, screen quality and brightness is awesome & am rockin Windows 10 which makes it a great experience! You won't be disappointed with the Surface Pro 3.

Bought this for airplane traveling. Just the right weight and attachable keyboard large enough to type comfortably. The add-ons add up but overall I'm glad I took the plunge and upgraded. So far it appears Windows 10 is a fairly easy transition for someone who hates operating system upgrades! The download of 10 (Surface came equipped with Windows 7 for some reason) took a Loooonnnngg while but otherwise no glitches.

I really like the portability of this device and it is a computer. I can load Microsoft office. I like the touchscreen. Sometimes the keyboard doesn't work and you have to reboot, not shut down. Don't ask me why but if you shut down and turn off it won't fix the problem, only rebooting will. I wish it had a better camera as it would be easy to take pictures and not have to upload as they are already then on your computer. But the pictures are a little grainy. But all in all I am very happy with this computer.
