The Surface is smaller and lighter, but much more powerful than my previous laptop. I especially like the option of using either the touchscreen or the keyboard depending on what I'm doing. Very happy with this compared to my old laptop!

Far more useful and powerful than my wife's ipad. Great for taking on the road for my service business. Runs desktop applications with ease. Battery life is impressive, you really will get a full 8 hours of constant use on a charge.

I used a surface pro 3 for schooling for a year and loved it. Bought this one for my daughter going to college. Very easy to learn to use and the capabilities are endless.

I've been a Surface user since the RT model, which I still have and use, but just as a tablet. This one definitely replaced my bulky laptop! I use CAD software and it works great, but they should improve the fan.

I got this for school, and I absolutely love it! The graphics on it are really good, good for editing photos. It's also light enough that I can carry it to class with me. I love the versatility it has!

For being a tablet, this works so much easier than a regular laptop. It will be a great tool to help me in college.

I absolutely love this surface, its fast and does everything I need it to without a problem. I'm a mechanical engineering student and I use many programs at once and it doesn't slow it down one bit.

Has issues with sd card causing processes to run and bring the machine to a halt. Hopefully will be fix in an update. The price is great if you don't need the hard drive space. Fast and definitely can replace a laptop

Easy to use. Great for all the things I need to do for school. The only downside is it needs to be on a flat surface when using with the keyboard. It doesn't have the same stability as other 2-in-1 I've used before.

I was looking for a light weight yet powerful replacement for a laptop. The Surface PRO 3 is just that.

I like my surface plus it's like having a computer in my pocket is small compact and able to do everything as a large laptops could

Overall it's a good product only dislike is the speakers are not loud enough I guess I should've tested those in the store before buying it. Other then that I can't complain it does everything I need it to do

This is one unit that still had windows 8.1 (we haven't upgraded to 10 yet) solid machine and much better than SP2

I was entering my final year in engineering at msu when my trusty laptop broken. All hope was lost but, then i got a surface pro 3 and I never looked backed.

The surface is the ultimate experience. Light and compact that can go anywhere you go. I have used less paper with the stylus that comes with the surface.

Love my Surface Pro. Easy to use. I use it for work. Can't wait to upgrade when a newer model comes out!

The surface pro 3 line is great although most of the models no matter the processor suffer from slight overheating issues.

This is a great Product. Sleek and does everything I need to do. It has the same abilities of a desktop with the portability of an iPad.
