kind of clumsy to use

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure if it's better than the other typepad covers as this is the only one I have used, but I LOVE it. The keys are well spaced, back lit and have a great feel. The track pad is exceptionally responsive and I think the grey color is super cool! It was a toss up between the one with fingerprint ID or this one, but since Windows already has face recognition, and my salesperson suggested this was great, I went with this. I can't know what I'm missing with the fingerprint ID, but I'd say if you like the look and feel of the Alcantara, then go for it!

However, unlike other tablets (ehm, won't mention them by name) it is a pleasure to use as it is well-designed and the keys are very well-made. They feel of high quality and a type cover makes using a surface that much greater. Getting the Alcantara version was a great idea as it feels a lot more luxurious and the texture is amazing. It is also a great color and I love the melange effect. The alcantara is used in many luxury products, and I can see why.

I'm totally happy with it and I get questions about it from everyone. definitely turns some heads. the fact that it matches the device color, and feels great to the touch are among my favorite aspects about it. Get it!
