This keyboard is my favorite. I've owned three other surface keyboards and this one is by far the most aesthetically pleasing and will hold up longer against wear and tear.

I love it, Its a great keyboard and it feels different than the others, not like plastic. Its hard to describe but it has more of a fabric texture. I also love how it lights up and you can choose to adjust the lighting

I love my Surface 4 Which wouldn't be so nice with out this keyboard. Has great feel the high quality materials make it worth the higher price. Caps has a light and the keyboard lights up in dark environments.

It is not necessary to have the keyboard, but when using the tablet at a table, the keyboard makes working much easier. If I am in a limited space area, I can easily detach it and use the touchscreen. Great option!

I bought this instead of the standard version and I'm glad I paid the extra money. The backlit keys are nice and the key push is much easier than the other keyboards.

While the jury is still out about the Surface it is attached to, I like the feel of this keyboard better than my desktop keyboard. The only complaint is when I try to use it in my lap, it is a bit cumbersome.

Yes, it cost more then the others but looks and feels great. I did not test the other colors but this one does feel way better then my Surface pro 2. Does not flex, keys spaced out and typing feel is smooth.

I bought this type cover with my surface pro 4. Kind of expensive compared to the normal type cover, but i think paying the extra is worth it. The alcantera just feels so nice and it matches so well with the sp4.

I got this keyboard because I thought my daughter would like the color and texture. It actually wipes off very easily and looks brand new even though she is hard in it. We are very happy with this purchase

I've seen the regular type covers in use and they show oils from the hands very quickly. This synthetic material is a lot like suede and stays very clean!

If you really want to exploit the power of your Surface Pro, you need this keyboard extension. If you are used to a full size keyboard it will take a little getting used to, but well worth it.

The feel of this keyboard in your hand and the appearance are much better than the other available options. It stays cleaner than my last keyboard or at least does not get soiled as easy.

I am in love with the typecover. it's the same as the regular typecovers just very fashionable and sophisticated looking, and the fabric feels so much better than the other type covers.

Decided to buy one of the new Alcantara keyboards. Costs a bit more but the material is attractive and it compliments the Surface Pro.

I purchased this with my third Surface and I was really impressed at the feeling of the keys over the 3rd generation keyboards. Well worth the money if you have a Surface.

If you have the money, the surface is a great toy .... getting all the extras ... keyboard, mouse, screen protection, etc is where the money is really spent. The "necessary" accessories cost nearly as much as the product. Do your homework and wring out the costs before you purchase.

This keyboard goes amazing with my surface pro. Very attractive, a better feel that the usual solid colored ones, easy to type at high speeds, great size for my needs

Wish MS included this with Surface Tablets, but I guess there are some folks who never use a keyboard - being old'school I love it - nice feel seems well built

Even though keyboard is razor thin... it feels like it's full size. Did not realize the keys have a backlight as well...which is a pretty cool feature.
