    It's great.....when it works

    I bought one of the surface pro 4 for each of my daughter's for Christmas in 2016. One of the units had battery problems since the beginning and had to keep plugged in most of the time. The surface never left my daughter's desk, very little to no memory used probably only used 20 to 30 hours for Netflix and some homework. It did not have one scratch or dent or ding never had a spill. It was virtually brand new. One day about 16 months in, of course after the warranty has expired, it just freezes and will not do anything. Apparently the motherboard went out. Of course Microsoft offers no help other than the option to give them $500 and they will give you a refurbished one. Also trying to find someone to work on the surface due to its delicate screen nature and everything being held by adhesive is an adventure in itself. For the premium price Microsoft charges to be on a par level with Apple you would think they would back up their products with better than a one year warranty. I will never buy another one again and I do not like apple but it looks like MacBook is the way I'm headed now.

    Purchased this for work, play, and school. Had issues of screen freezing from almost the moment I turned it on. It was always updating, then I couldn't get it to turn back on with out resetting it. After 5 days it stopped updating long enough for me to install that security that came with as a bonus. Then the craziness returned but worse with the updating, and the screen freezing, so badly that when I decided to return it, I could not get in to erase all my personal Information. customer service wanted to make me a ticket, and they would fix it. Absolutely not. I was so over the attraction, and decision to purchase this computer. They refunded my money. I had read reviews that had these issues listed but I bought anyway. Think Twice.

    I purchased the surface pro4 thinking that its the best of all windows tablets. But I couldn't enjoy it much as it went into bootloop juat after 3 months of mininal use. Its my 3rd costly laptop from best buy and all of them has gone bad as soon as BestBuy's warranty/responsibility is over. In fact all the products from BestBuy has been of extremely inferior quality than what my friends and relatives has bought from other vendors.

    Microsoft SharePoint disaster. Purchased for my worker to use on the floor and couldn't login at initial setup. GOOGLE it, very common problem with this device. MS wants you to spend 2 days downloading a new MSI image to a laughable USB bootable disk, laughable because you better be factory trained to accomplish this feat. HOW ABOUT MAKING PRODUCTS TAHT WORK OUT OF THE BOX? Maybe on the next update;)

    We had issue after issue with this tablet. From setting it up to getting started. It was more of a pain than it was worth!
